Childhood sows seeds and strives to be strong
Dong Zhujun grew up in a very poor family, his father's original surname is Dong, Dong Zhujun recalled, "For what reason did you change your surname to Dong?" In fact, for many years, she had no impression of this. But the name is originally a representative symbol. At that time, changing the surname Dong had been circulating in society for 70 or 80 years, and in that era, changing names and surnames was also a common thing.
Dong Zhujun changed from "Dongzhujun" to "Dongzhujun". Dong Zhujun has been sensible since he was a child, helping his mother to do housework every day, such as sweeping the floor, wiping the table, going to the street to buy grain, buying oil, salt, sauce and vinegar, etc. When her mother cooked, she squatted in front of the wood stove hole to add firewood and straw knots, washed the dishes and chopsticks after the meal, washed her clothes and pants, and carried the toilet to the sidewalk under the eaves in the middle of the night.
Dong Zhujun's parents thought that reading was useless, but they still funded Dong Zhujun's tuition fees for her to go to school, which was entirely dependent on the money earned by her mother as a mother-in-law and her father pulling a rickshaw. It was also this reading experience that opened Dong Zhujun's different life.
Later, due to his father's serious illness, there was no money to supplement his body, and Dong Zhujun's cost of studying did not fall, so in order to maintain her livelihood, her mother hid dong Zhujun, let Dong Zhujun learn Beijing opera, and sent her to the Qinglou. Dong Zhujun began his singing career, and although he was young at that time, he suddenly realized that he understood his situation and began to have great doubts about fate.
She loved to listen to state affairs, so she learned a lot about the revolutionaries at that time and got to know some revolutionaries at that time. Later, she also took the opportunity to get married, and went abroad to study at the Ochanomizu Girls' Higher Normal School in Tokyo, and after reading all the courses, she felt that her husband was working hard to do the revolution in the country, in order to make a strong country, so she should also help him contribute to the country, which is her responsibility to help the country. Therefore, Dong Zhujun returned to China and later joined the revolution.
Revolutionary activities, funding for youth
Since then, Dong Zhujun has carried out revolutionary underground work. In order to make it easier for the leading comrades to work in the newly liberated Shanghai and to have a safe place for international friends to visit, Dong Zhujun was ordered to relocate the Jinjiang Restaurant and jinjiang tea room to the Jinjiang Hotel, and became the female owner of the hotel.
On one occasion, Song Shilun (also known as Zhang Ziguang) was arrested and imprisoned after a failed uprising in Guangzhou, and after his release from Guangzhou, he arrived in Shanghai via Hong Kong. At that time, Song Shilun could not find party organization relations, the economy was very difficult, and what was even more frightening was that he was closely watched by Dai Kasa, the head of the national government's secret service.
The situation can be said to be very difficult. At that time, the desperate Song Shilun came to "Jinjiang" with a letter of introduction from his fellow prisoner Li Tangcao's brother to find Dong Zhujun. Song Shilun handed a letter to Dong Zhujun. She opened the letter to learn about him and guessed that Li Tangcao must be comrade Li, the contact person who introduced me to apply for membership in the party. Just invite him to sit for a while, before he can toast the tea, Dong Zhujun hurried to the office to take out a cash payment and hand it to him, so that he can successfully survive the difficulties.
After Comrade Song Shilun received the gift from Jinjiang, in addition to using the road fare, the rest was used to establish the guerrilla base area. 20 years later, after the liberation of Shanghai, Comrade Song Shilun became the commander of the corps, and had the opportunity to meet with Dong Zhujun again, and as soon as he entered the door, Song Shilun warmly shook hands with Dong Zhujun and said hello. After taking the seat, he excitedly expressed his great gratitude to Dong Zhujun for helping him.
At a later gathering, Song Shilun mentioned again: "After you helped me that year, I left Shanghai to join the guerrillas." Dong Zhujun said: "You have made great contributions to the revolution, I am really happy for you, and I admire you!" In order to show his gratitude, Song Shilun gave Dong Zhujun a piece of booty - a Japanese admiral's command knife as a memorial. The two also formed a deep friendship.
Forced to leave Shanghai, always patriotic
After the wind and waves are calm, accidents always occur. Dong Zhujun, who was doing underground revolutionary work, was eventually unaccustomed to people with hearts. Although the Japanese and traitors did not blatantly harm her, they continued to make things difficult for her. For example, they also want to buy shanghai women's magazine. For his own safety, Dong Zhujun decided to leave Shanghai temporarily. In the past few years outside, Dong Zhujun has always been worried about the motherland, especially he is very worried about participating in the domestic revolutionary work. Since he began to participate in the party's underground work in Shanghai in 1930, Dong Zhujun has been loyal to the party's cause, and even though he was arrested and imprisoned in Shanghai for four months and imprisoned for more than five years in a catastrophe, his faith in the party has never wavered and he has always been patriotic.
Dong Zhujun, who has contributed to the party's cause all her life, said: "All the work done is insignificant, it is just a small wave in the torrent of revolution." How pointless it is. What she is proud of is that in the sunset moment of a person's life, she has strengthened her faith in socialism and communism - to revitalize the motherland, to build a socialist modern power with Chinese characteristics, and to benefit mankind and to fight for world peace.
