During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, both the enemy and us used a large number of German-made Mauser M1932 submachine pistols, which were smaller in size, not much larger than the usual shell guns, but could shoot fully automatically, and were equipped with 20-round magazines, with blazing firepower, especially in close-range combat, often able to give the other side great damage and psychological shock.

As a well-known railway guerrilla in the Lunan area, in the battle with the Japanese puppet army, it has captured a lot of 20 rings, for example, in the surprise attack on the Battle of the Japanese Special Forces in Lincheng, our guerrillas captured 5 20 rings. The team members liked this weapon very much, and they practiced it repeatedly, using the 20-shot magic, and even suppressing the Japanese machine guns. This happened during a battle in the summer of 1943.
At that time, as the Japanese army continued to transfer troops to the Pacific Theater, the situation in the War of Resistance Against Japan gradually began to improve. The Lunan Railway Brigade also began to strengthen the struggle against the enemy along the Jinpu Railway and Weishan Lake, and gradually grasped the initiative, forcing the enemy along the line to turn to the defensive position. However, because the Jinpu Line is the main artery of north-south communication between the occupied areas, the forces deployed by the Japanese puppet army along the line are still very strong, and because the Japanese and puppet forces have strengthened their control and counterfeiting of the occupied areas after 1941, there are hidden enemy special forces in many places, and the whereabouts of our army are reported by the enemy to the enemy in the stronghold from time to time, and the enemy army can still concentrate its forces to carry out sweeps or raids on our army, and such raids and counter-raids between the two sides often break out.
In early June 1943, our railway guerrillas, together with the leaders of other units and armed workers, held a secret meeting at Pengkou Gate near Lincheng in a landlord compound in the village surnamed Wang. However, this matter was learned by the enemy's lurking secret agents, and immediately reported it to the Japanese army in Lincheng, and the commander of the Japanese army in Lincheng, Iwashita, was ecstatic, and he immediately mobilized more than 100 Japanese puppet troops to carry out a rapid attack on our army.
My participants and the railway guerrillas who were responsible for guarding the duty had just had lunch at this time and were preparing to continue the meeting, when Xu Guangtian, the leader of the railway team, was chatting with 2 members of the gate aisle in the aisle, when they suddenly heard the sentry shouting: "The devil is coming!" They hurriedly pulled out their guns and went out to see that the Japanese combat formation had rushed to a place not far from the meeting compound, and on the embankment of the Grand Canal on the edge of the village, the Japanese were still deploying machine gun positions. Xu Guangtian saw that the situation was urgent, he picked up 20 shots, aimed at the enemy, and fired several accurate point shots in succession, killing the enemy machine gun shooter who was laying out the machine gun position. The rest of their teammates threw grenades at the japanese who rushed up and guarded the gate.
At this time, the participants were quickly discharged from the backyard under the cover of railway guerrilla fire. At the same time, Liu Jinshan, commander of the railway brigade, ordered the short gun team to cover the machine gun group to set up machine guns in an alley next to the courtyard to block the Japanese attack and cover the breakthrough of the participating cadres to the north. Seeing that they could not rush in from the main gate, the Japanese army immediately wrapped up from the south of the village in two ways, intending to surround the cadres and guerrillas who broke through the siege. Due to Iwashita's misjudgment, he estimated that our army would definitely run south and retreat to Weishan Lake, so he deployed the main force to the south and desperately encircled it to the south, but after our army withdrew from the compound, it crossed several courtyards, and after leaving the village, it attacked northward, which was precisely the weak area of the Japanese army, and only a few detachments carried out blockade tasks here. As a result, the guerrillas were fiercely strafed by 20 shots in close combat, and the casualties were heavy, forcing the Japanese detachment to close the formation and turn to the defense to avoid being overwhelmed by our army, so our army quickly disappeared into the green gauze tent outside the village after breaking through the enemy's blockade line.

This raid was a perfect attack by the Japanese army, with accurate intelligence, strong troops, and fast arrivals, but in our Lunan Railway Brigade, the Japanese army's surprise attack was ultimately fruitless, and the conspiracy to exhaust the railway guerrillas and the leaders attending the meeting collapsed. When Iwaguchi finally commanded his troops to withdraw to Lincheng, the car loaded more than 10 corpses and many wounded. Except for 2 guerrillas who were killed, the rest of us broke through safely.
