Old photo of Kyoto, Japan in the 80s Very Chinese very Tang Dynasty

In the late autumn of 1980, Hiroji Kubota, a well-known Japanese photojournalist, took a group of photographs of Kyoto, Japan. Red maple leaves, deep courtyard, at first glance, I thought it was a famous mountain ancient temple in China. Kyoto was built by the Japanese to model luoyang and Chang'an Castle in the Tang Dynasty, and to this day, Kyoto is still full of strong Tang Dynasty mood.

Some people say that if you want to see the Tang Dynasty in China, go to Kyoto, Japan.

After looking at these photos, you know that this is true. The Tang Dynasty, the tang dynasty that can never go back, can only find some memories in Kyoto, Japan, across the sea.

While Japan's economy is highly developed, traditional culture is still preserved, and traditional ancient buildings have been properly protected, while China has not been able to compare with people in this regard over the years. From the demolition of the Beijing city wall in the 1950s, to the cultural revolution to the destruction of the four old, and then to the large-scale demolition and construction in these years, the ancient buildings have suffered one disaster after another.

Forget it, don't say it, say too much is tears.
