GAC Group sold 2.144 million vehicles in the full year, up 4.9% year-on-year

Jiwei Network news, on the evening of January 5, GAC Group issued a document saying that the group's 2021 ended perfectly, and both production and sales achieved positive growth throughout the year, and production and sales increased year-on-year.

According to GAC Group, it produced 2.138 million vehicles from January to December 2021, up 5.1% year-on-year; sold 2,144,000 vehicles, up 4.9% year-on-year; and sold 2.173 million vehicles at the terminal, up 6.4% year-on-year. In addition, GAC Group's gross industrial output value and local output value in 2021 increased significantly year-on-year, exceeding the annual challenge target. According to it, from January to December, the group's cumulative industrial output value was 350.01 billion yuan, an increase of 9.7% year-on-year; of which Guangzhou's local output value was 326.97 billion yuan, an increase of 10.6% year-on-year.

It is reported that in December 2021, GAC Group produced a total of 268,000 vehicles, an increase of 21.4% year-on-year and 11.6% month-on-month; a total of 234,000 vehicles, an increase of 11.8% year-on-year, an increase of 4.3% month-on-month; and a total of 244,000 vehicles sold at the terminal, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year.

GAC Group also revealed that in 2021, the group's new energy passenger car sales will double. According to the data, GAC Group's single-month sales of new energy passenger cars in December 2021 were 19,346 units, an increase of 113.6% year-on-year; among them, the sales of autonomous new energy passenger cars were 14,648 units, an increase of 101.7% year-on-year. For the whole year of 2021, GAC Group's new energy passenger car sales were 142853 units, an increase of 86.3% year-on-year; among them, the sales of autonomous new energy passenger cars were 120,690 units, an increase of 98.1% year-on-year.

In addition, GAC Aeon produced 16,449 units in a single month in December 2021, an increase of 121.2% year-on-year, and terminal sales of 16,675 units, up 119% year-on-year. For the whole year of 2021, GAC Aeon's cumulative terminal sales were 123,660 units, an increase of 119% year-on-year.

GAC Trumpchi produced 43,964 units in December 2021, up 35.2% year-on-year, and sold 32,151 units in a single month, up 2.2% year-on-year. In the whole year of 2021, GAC Trumpchi sold 324201 vehicles, an increase of 10.3% year-on-year.

Guangqi Honda produced 94,365 units in a single month in December 2021, up 12.3% year-on-year, and sold 78,402 units in a single month, up 0.9% year-on-year. For the full year of 2021, GUANGC Honda's cumulative production will be 787109 units, and its cumulative sales will be 780266 units.

GAC Toyota's monthly production in December 2021 was 103195 units, up 26.5% year-on-year, and its monthly sales were 98,523 units, up 36.5% year-on-year. For the full year of 2021, GAC Toyota's cumulative production will be 823296 units, with cumulative sales of 828,000 vehicles and cumulative terminal sales of 840396 vehicles. In particular, GAC Toyota pointed out that GAC Toyota will have more than 800,000 wholesale terminals in 2021.

In addition, in December 2021, GAC Group sold a total of 7 models with monthly sales of more than 10,000 units, namely: the Camry series, with monthly sales of 27,195 units; the Leiling series, with monthly sales of 21,889 units; the Accord series, with monthly sales of 20,460 vehicles; Binzhi, with monthly sales of 18,071 vehicles; the Willanda series, with monthly sales of 16,665 vehicles; the Highlander series, with monthly sales of 14,401 units; and the Haoying series, with monthly sales of 14,075 vehicles.

GAC Group also said that from January to December 2021, the group sold a total of 7 models of more than 100,000, and 3 models exceeded 200,000. Among them, the models with annual sales of more than 200,000 are: the Leiling series, which sold a total of 222818 vehicles throughout the year; the Camry series, which sold 216764 vehicles throughout the year; and the Accord series, which sold a total of 201301 vehicles throughout the year. The remaining models with sales of more than 100,000 include: Binzhi, with annual sales of 173,870 units; Haoying series, with annual sales of 166,240 units; Velanda series, with annual sales of 128086 units; and Highlander series, with annual sales of 107733 units.
