Changsha, January 6 (Liu Man Linle) reporters learned from crRC Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Electric") located in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province on the 6th that its overseas business sales revenue in 2021 increased by 230% year-on-year, and new energy commercial vehicles such as electric buses "drove" into New Zealand, Hungary, Singapore and other countries. The C11, a 50-unit pure electric bus tailored by the company for South Korea, has recently completed the first delivery, and the first 30 vehicles will serve the city of Seoul in South Korea.
In recent years, the South Korean government has issued relevant policies to promote new energy vehicles in the field of public transportation. However, in the field of buses, the access standards are very stringent. CRRC Electric went deep into Korea to understand customer needs, customized prototypes and products for local regulations and standards, and successfully won the first batch of 10 batch orders in 2020. In 2021, in view of the good feedback of the first batch of ordered products, the South Korean side added 50 new pure electric bus orders.
The model delivered to the Korean side this time is a CRRC electric 11-meter pure electric bus. According to the R & D personnel, this batch of pure electric buses has three characteristics of intelligence, humanization and maintenance efficiency, especially in terms of intelligence, not only installing the industry's first intelligent parking system, virtual bumper, but also equipped with an overseas version of Yunzhitong, etc., which can realize remote switching of lights, starting vehicles, diagnosing vehicles, and after-sales service, which greatly improves the driver's driving convenience and vehicle after-sales service efficiency.
In addition, the pure electric bus C11 has reached the first echelon standard of the Korean market in terms of comprehensive parameters such as energy consumption and mileage, passed the authoritative certification of the relevant departments in South Korea, and received full subsidies.
After 5 years of overseas channel construction, CRRC Electric's overseas business in 2021 bucked the trend, continued to obtain batch orders in the Asia-Pacific market, and ranked first in the Market share of pure electric buses in the Asia-Pacific region; delivered 41 12.7-meter pure electric buses in New Zealand; started demonstration operation of a 12-meter three-door prototype jointly developed with the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, assisted local enterprises in designing and exporting a three-electric system plus electric chassis model in Malaysia, and signed 60 sets of high-voltage electrical systems.
At the beginning of 2021, the 12-meter self-driving bus produced by CRRC Electric passed the road test in Paris, France and obtained the operating license, which is the first 12-meter self-driving bus in France to obtain an open road operation permit, and it is also the first time that a Chinese autonomous bus has entered France. At present, the second phase of the open road demonstration operation of autonomous buses in Paris has been completed, which has become a new milestone in the development of local intelligent networked transportation.
