So when we hear the hardware scream, it's just because the vibration of its components is making a sound that's exactly at the frequency we can hear.
However, the whistle will eventually affect our experience, so many students will try to eliminate the whistle on the hardware. To eliminate the whistle, in essence, is to eliminate or weaken the vibration of the hardware, the more common methods are the glue drop method and the plug capacitor method, the former is to cure the component through glue, reduce the vibration, the latter is to change the circuit structure, in order to change the vibration frequency of the component, so that it does not make a sound or the sound emitted is not heard by the human ear. Rather, both methods have certain operational requirements for the player and are not necessarily effective.
In contrast, physically blocking the whistle may be easier to operate, such as switching to a silent chassis, switching to noise-cancelling headphones, or simply moving the chassis farther away, which may have a more significant effect. However, if you have implemented the above methods but still cannot alleviate the whistle, and you can no longer accept the impact of the hardware whistle, you can only replace the corresponding hardware, or send the hardware for repair, to see if the manufacturer has the ability to help you solve the corresponding problem. However, it is not difficult to judge which hardware is screaming, but it is not easy to judge the cause of the whistle, it takes time to completely solve the problem, it is good to be able to solve it once and for all, but it is also a common thing that cannot be solved in a short time, and it is also a calm and slow toss, after all, this is also a kind of "fun" of DIY.
