Genghis Khan wrote a handwritten letter to Qiu Zhiji, and after reading the content, people worshiped it

In fact, these two days were not in the mood to write anything, everyone was paying attention to the epidemic problem, and the penman also hid in the countryside of his hometown to do a thorough self-isolation to win this battle.

Later, I thought about it, we have to face difficulties, life has to go on, while everyone is watching the news, the penman still offers a clumsy work to soothe everyone's nervous emotions.

Today, I would like to talk about two famous historical figures: Genghis Khan and Qiu Chuji.

Genghis Khan

What kind of character is it?

Hill machine

What kind of character is it?

When these two characters meet, what kind of scene is it?

This is somewhat legendary of martial arts, but it really happens.

Genghis Khan was a desert tyrant who unified Mongolia and flattened a large area of land in Khwarazm and Western Xia and Jin, and in the eyes of the world, he was a war maniac.

And what about the hill machine? It is a Taoist figure who is safe and peaceful in the world and cleans up against violence. There are so-called:

"The Way Down the Mountain"

In the chaotic world, a Taoist priest is a chivalrous warrior.

In addition, Genghis Khan was

Mongolia

The leader of the hill, and the hill is the machine

Jin Dynasty

Hanmin.

From either angle, Genghis Khan and Yau are people of two worlds. However, it is such two people that really intersect, and moreover, they intersect very deeply.

Genghis Khan once wrote a handwritten letter to Qiu Chuji, and after reading the content, he couldn't help but let people worship Qiu Chuji. What kind of letter is this? See:

The original text of the letter (which can also be said to be the hand edict) can no longer be found, and it was written by Li Zhichang, a disciple of Qiu Chuji

Journey to the West by Changchun Zhenren

, Changchun Zhenren is Qiu Chuji.

The letter reads to the effect that:

Qiu Shenxian, don't come to the summer on your spring and moon itinerary, the road is hot and difficult, do you have to ride along the road? Is there a lot more food on the road? When you go to Xuande Prefecture and other places, will the officials look down on you? Will the people below come? I often think about you here, the gods, I have not forgotten you, you have forgotten me. November 15, 2015.

Note the last sentence:

I have not forgotten you, and you have forgotten me.

Quite a bit of "I don't fail you, you don't bear me" meaning.

This is the original intention of Genghis Khan, and it can be seen that Genghis Khan has great respect and trust for Qiu Zhiji, and in front of Qiu Zhiji, Genghis Khan seems to have changed from a murderous maniac to a devout believer.

What is this all about?

It turned out that Genghis Khan was born in 1162 AD, and Qiu Chuji was born in 1148 AD, a difference of 14 years between the two. However, when Qiu Chuji was in his 70s, he still looked like a fairy wind Dao bone, crane hair and childlike face, and people were amazed by his physical fitness, and it was rumored that he had lived for more than 300 years.

However, Genghis Khan, who was in his 50s, felt more and more exhausted and inadequate in several conquests, so he decided to seek a way to prolong his life from Qiu Zhiji.

Qiu was in Shandong, and he thought he would be able to meet Genghis Khan in Yanjing (present-day Beijing), so he agreed. However, when he arrived in Yanjing, Genghis Khan went on an expedition to Huarazimo.

Qiu Chuji originally wanted to wait for Genghis Khan to return in Yanjing, but the western expedition was far away, and Genghis Khan sent emissaries to pick him up to meet him in Huarazimo, and Qiu Chuji had to drag his elderly body on a journey of ten thousand miles, which was more than 1 year.

After Qiu Arrived in Khwarazm, Genghis Khan summoned him three times and had a devout conversation. Although Qiu Zhiji did not bring Genghis Khan a elixir to prolong his life, he let Genghis Khan understand the method of self-cultivation, and there was no elixir for immortality, but the way of hygiene could make him healthy.

There was another purpose of Qiu's trip, which was to persuade Genghis Khan

"Respect god and love the people"

。 To respect Heaven is to be afraid and to love the people, that is, not to kill living beings in vain. Qiu Zhiji's move is also based on the idea of the world's life, otherwise, the Mongolian iron horse will turn the world into a ruin.

Genghis Khan was a wise man, he naturally understood the truth of qiu zhiji, on the way back, Genghis Khan wrote this handwritten letter to Qiu Zhiji, completely regarding Qiu Zhiji as a "living god" in his mind.

Qiu's visit also brought the gospel to the Quanzhen Sect, which later developed into a major sect under the rule of the Yuan Dynasty and continues to this day.
