On January 10, 2022, the Federal Circuit and the Family Court made a decision to revoke Djokovic's visa for reasons of procedural fairness. In order to make this decision, I carefully reviewed the information submitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Australian Border Service and Djokovic. The current Government, led by Morrison, has been unwavering in protecting Australia's borders, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. ”
If Djokovic is ultimately unable to play at the Australian Open, his top seed will be replaced by No. 5 seed Rublev.
