The special industry of tomb robbers has made many people resentful, and tomb robbers earn the money of the dead, which is very dirty. It seems that from ancient times to the present, the industry of tomb robbers has not been broken, and in today's strict laws, there are still many people who will risk tomb robbery to earn ill-gotten gains.
Migrant workers accidentally found ancient tombs on the construction site
In the two years of history, the tomb robbers painstakingly searched for a huge ancient tomb of great value, but they did not expect that in the 1980s, this very large ancient tomb was found by migrant workers in Guangdong Province.
At that time, this piece of land in Guangzhou was favored and prepared to build a villa area, and the workers accidentally found a relatively large stone slab with many patterns carved on it during the construction and excavation of the foundation.
Through the crevices in the stone slabs, the workers found a dark patch below, as if it were a basement. Many migrant workers have speculated whether this is the place where the landlord's old wealth and treasure are hidden, or the secret arsenal built by the Japanese army when it invaded China, and the workers did not dare to take it lightly, so they immediately reported the news to the relevant person in charge of the construction site.
After the experts learned of this news, they rushed to the scene non-stop to investigate. Through preliminary exploration, archaeologists determined that there was an ancient tomb buried under this cave.
Who is the owner of this tomb? How big is it? With all sorts of questions, archaeologists approved the tomb after obtaining approval from higher authorities.
The tomb of the Nanyue king who shocked the world has finally come to light
Through the unremitting efforts of archaeologists, this ancient tomb has gradually been revealed in people's field of vision. The scale of the ancient tomb is very large, covering an area of the entire construction site, there are a total of 7 burial chambers, each burial chamber is placed with different cultural relics, the ancient tomb in the funerary items are various, archaeologists in the careful cleaning, found that these funerary cultural relics reached more than 1,000 pieces.
Among them, there are 2 extremely precious cultural relics that have attracted the great attention of experts, one of these two cultural relics is the "Emperor Wen Xingxi", known as the tomb of King Wen of South Vietnam "Treasure of the Town Tomb", which is the first imperial seal excavated by Archaeological Excavations in China, and the largest Western Han Dynasty Golden Seal.
The main feature of the printing surface is that the dragon is a button and cast in gold. Another precious cultural relic is the "Silk Jade Dress", which is made of 2291 pieces of jade with silk thread and linen paste, which is about 10 years earlier than the golden jade clothes of Liu Sheng, the King of Jing in Hebei Province, and is the earliest set of complete jade clothes seen so far.
It is reported that the value of each of these two cultural relics is far more than 2.4 billion.
Before seeing these two artifacts, archaeologists thought that the tomb was at best a tomb of a prince and nobleman, but they did not expect that it was an imperial tomb.
Both cultural relics belong to the funerary items in the tomb of Zhao Hu, the grandson of Zhao Tuo, the founding emperor of the South Vietnamese State, who should be known as the famous King Wu of South Vietnam in China's history, who was originally a general of the Qin Dynasty and had been ordered by the King of Qin to attack Baiyue in the south.
When Zhao Tuo saw that the Qin state in the Central Plains had started civil unrest, he immediately decided to rise, conquered the Lingnan region, and established the South Vietnamese state on his own. Zhao Tuo attached great importance to the Han culture and advanced production technology of the Central Plains, enabling the local people to live and work in peace and contentment, and created a great cause, and there are many poems praising Zhao Tuo in Chinese history, expressing the people's reverence and nostalgia for him.
Even if Zhao Tuo's grandson Zhao Hu was buried here, it is estimated that the ancient tomb of Zhao Tuo, the King of Wu in South Vietnam, will also be near here. According to this conjecture, archaeologists conducted a detailed survey around the site, but unfortunately found nothing and did not find any clues to Zhao Tuo's ancient tomb, so where was Zhao Tuo buried? How big is his tomb?
For more than two thousand years, people have been searching for the tomb of Zhao Tuo, the king of South Vietnam. The most important tomb of Zhao Tuo in South Vietnam, unfortunately, has become a mystery for eternity.
