From the perspective of personal style, the Xianfeng Emperor and his father Daoguang are somewhat similar, both are more lustful, and they both like to sprinkle qi on women, therefore, the concubines of the harems of Daoguang and Xianfeng are often demoted, and today I want to talk about a woman in the Xianfeng harem, this woman was once the head of the concubines, higher than Cixi, but somehow angered tianzi, was demoted three levels in a row, so that she died in the cold palace, this woman is Jue Changzai.
In the second year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty, Xianfeng ordered the first Eight Flags Draft since succeeding to the throne, and a total of four showgirls were selected in this draft, including a woman from the Manchurian Zhenghuang Banner, surnamed Ilgen Jueluoshi, who was the daughter of Guozi Jianjiu Yanchang. This IlgenJue Roche is the one who will talk about this article.
In fact, Jue Chang was quite good in his birth, although her family was relatively declining in the early and middle period of the Qing Dynasty, but from the jiaqing dynasty onwards, she began to rank among the family, especially in terms of entering the imperial family, Ilgen jue Luoshi's performance was very eye-catching. Jue Changzai's father, Yan Chang, was a jinshi of the 27th year of Daoguang, and the later official went to the Guozi to supervise the sacrifice of wine, and belonged to the sipin official. From this point of view, Yue Chang may have a certain cultural accomplishment in herself, which is one of the reasons why she can be selected.
Among the four showgirls who were selected in the second year of Xianfeng, except for the concubine who was selected as a preparatory empress, Yue Chang was the one who was most valued by Xianfeng among the remaining three. Jue Chang was the first to enter the palace with concubines, and the remaining Lan Gui (Cixi) and Li Gui were the second to enter the palace.
Moreover, the concubine was promoted to the throne in October of this year, and Jue Chang was also promoted to the title of concubine in this year, while the remaining Lan Gui and Li Gui were not given the concubine position until the fourth year of Xianfeng, which shows that Jue Chang was very favored in the first period of entering the palace, second only to the existence of the empress (Empress Xiao zhenxian), ranking second in the harem of the Qing Dynasty, ranking first before Yun Concubine.
However, what is unexpected is that only one year later, that is, on the second day of September in the third year of Xianfeng, Xianfeng made people announce that Ying Concubine (玶常 zai) was second to the rank of Concubine, that is to say, the rank was lowered by one place. Only a day later, Xianfeng once again issued a decree to demote Ying Concubine to Yi Guiren. In fact, if at this time, Jue Chang can reform and start over, the comeback is not known. However, perhaps due to the influence of the family atmosphere, this Ma Chang did not have the habit of bowing down at all, and his bones were full of arrogance.
In this way, after two years, that is, in February of the fifth year of Xianfeng, Jue Chang suffered another major blow, and was successively demoted to Chang Zai and promised, almost becoming the lowest-ranking concubine in the harem, no different from being beaten into the cold palace.
One after another blows, so that Jue Chang quickly collapsed, just after being demoted to promise, Yue Chang came to the end of his life, at this time, perhaps with a hint of guilt, before Jue Chang died, Xian Feng still promoted him to Chang Zai, and the title was Jiu Chang Zai. In the end, He was buried in the Dingling Concubine Garden.
Throughout her life, she was the earliest favorite woman of Xianfeng, and was once the head of the concubines of the Harem of the Qing Dynasty, at this time, if Jue Chang had a stronger grasp of the ability, handled things more smoothly, and gave birth to a man and a half woman for the emperor, her fate would be very different, that is to say, The chances of Chuang Chang were great, but she did not grasp it, and eventually became a loser in the court struggle.
