Born in 1915 in Tongjiang, Sichuan, General Zhang Xianyang joined the Red Army at the age of 18, and then followed the troops in the southern conquest of the Northern War, and made many military achievements. In late February 1950, Zhang Xianyang entered Yunnan as the commander of the 43rd Division and followed the Erye 4th Corps into Yunnan, and soon became the commander of the Zhaotong Garrison District of the Yunnan Military Region. At that time, Yunnan had just been liberated, and the remnants of the Kuomintang and the bandit armed forces entrenched in this area had not yet been completely eliminated, and this part of the people still had illusions and launched rebellions from time to time.
General Zhang Xianyang
On June 18, 1950, a group of about 2,000 rebels openly rushed into Zhaotong City and attempted to besiege the Zhaotong Garrison Headquarters. After nearly two hours of fierce fighting, our army killed more than 200 rebels, captured more than 1,600 prisoners, captured more than 1,400 light and heavy weapons, and killed the leader of the rebel bandits, Long San, on the spot. It is said that this battle was fought cleanly and neatly, and the division commander Zhang Xianyang should be happy, but when he heard the news that the bandit leader Long San had been killed, he was worried and hurriedly sent a telegram to Chen Geng: Commander, we are in trouble!
After killing a rebel leader, why did Zhang Xianyang say that he had run into trouble? It turned out that Long San was not an ordinary bandit, he was the third son of Wang Longyun of Yunnan. Longsan was originally named LongSheng Zeng, born in 1912, his mother is the daughter of Zhaotong Yi Tusi, very powerful in the local area, his father Long Yun has also held important positions in the Dian Army, the family is prominent and his parents are doting, Long Rope has developed a bad disease of flamboyant personality and no one in sight since childhood.
Dragon Cloud
Later, in order to restrain this son, Long Yun sent him to the Yunnan Daowu Hall, hoping that he would learn the skill of leading soldiers to fight here and be his own helper in the future. Unexpectedly, the dragon rope had been scattered and habitual, and he could not stand the discipline of the military academy at all, so he beat the instructor. Long Yun had no choice but to take this son with him and discipline him at any time, and Long Rope had only relented. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Long Yun sent the 60th Army out of Yunnan to resist Japan, and the bloody battle of Yuwangshan made the Dian Army famous in the first battle, but it also paid a considerable casualty price.
After the war, Lu Han, who was the commander of the 60th Army, asked Long Yun for replenishment, and Long Yun sent a new corps to the front line, and appointed Long Sheng as the deputy colonel of the regiment, hoping that his son would be able to train on the battlefield. After the dragon rope had set out, it actually ignored the urgency of the military situation and went all the way to the mountains and rivers, and when it reached the front line, it was already half a month later than the originally stipulated time. It is said that the missed military plane is to kill the head, but Lu Han is the cousin of Long Rope Zeng, so there is no investigation.

Not only that, Lu Han also promised Long Shengzeng that as long as he had been on the battlefield for a period of time, he would be promoted to the head of the regiment. However, Long Rope once thought that the battlefield was too dangerous and would lose his life if he did not get it, so he found an excuse to leave the front line and return to Yunnan. Long Yun saw that Dragon Rope had been so angry, and he was furious and scolded him. However, Long Yun's doting on Long Sheng Zeng did not diminish at all, and he was soon promoted to colonel of the 58th Army's Supplementary Regiment.
After the victory of the War of Resistance, Lao Jiang transferred the main force of the Dian army to Vietnam in the name of being demoted, and ordered Du Yuming to take the opportunity to lead his troops into Yunnan and force Long Yun to take up his post in Chongqing by force. At the same time, Long Sheng was also arranged to be trained in the general officer class of Nanjing Army University, in a vain attempt to eliminate the influence of Long's father and son in Yunnan, which caused Long Yun and Lao Jiang to completely oppose each other. In December 1948, Long Yun fled Nanjing with chennault's help and flew to Hong Kong, thus embarking on an anti-Chiang road. His son Long Rope was once used by Lao Jiang as the commander of the "Yin Wu Column of the Southwest People's Revolutionary Army", with more than 3,000 guns under his command.

After Lu Han's uprising in Yunnan, Long Yun moved north from Hong Kong and entered Beijing to hold important positions. After Chen Geng's Fourth Corps entered Yunnan, Long Sheng was forced by the situation to pretend to accept the reorganization, and was appointed deputy commander of the Zhaotong Garrison District and chief of the Garrison Corps, but secretly he accepted lao Jiang's appointment as the commander-in-chief of the "Sichuan Dian Qiankang Anti-Communist National Salvation Army". After that, Long Sheng instructed his subordinates to ambush small units of the People's Liberation Army many times, and also tried to ambush Zhang Xianyang, the commander of the 43rd Division, but after the plot was revealed, he pushed the responsibility to the end, saying that he "did not know."
Because of Long Yun's relationship, Zhang Xianyang repeatedly advised Long Rope, hoping that he could restrain the horse from the cliff, but Long Rope could not listen to it at all. On June 18, 1950, he personally led more than 2,000 rebel bandits into Zhaotong City to seize favorable terrain and opened fire to besiege the Zhaotong Garrison Headquarters. The 43rd Division fought back, and after two hours of fighting, the rebels were wiped out, and the dragon rope was killed on the spot. At that time, Long Yun had already held an important position, and Zhang Xianyang felt that this matter was not easy to handle, so he urgently called Chen Geng.
Chen Geng
After understanding the details of the incident, Chen Geng said to Zhang Xianyang: "You have fought well, and you have removed a curse for the people of Yunnan." Later, Long Yun personally returned to Yunnan to deal with the matter, zhang Xianyang showed him the old Jiang's letter of appointment and other evidence one by one, and Long Yun sighed after reading it: "My son is very bad, he is to blame himself!" After that, Zhang Xianyang successively served as deputy commander of the Wuhan Military Region and deputy commander of the Fuzhou Military Region, and was promoted to the rank of major general in 1961.
