Regarding tomb robbery, in addition to the legends of the barnyard official no shi, there are also many records about such things in the history books. In the last year of the Qin Dynasty, after Xiang Yu invaded Xianyang, he wantonly excavated the tomb of the king of Qin and excavated the weapons used for burial in the mausoleum, and the armed forces.
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, in order to raise grain for the army, Cao Cao specially set up general Fa Qiu Zhonglang and Lieutenant Tujin to rob the tombs of the Han Dynasty emperors.
In modern times, the most serious tomb robbery should be the Qing Dongling treasure theft case carried out by Sun Dianying, who was rampant and his party actually smashed the teeth of the Qianlong Emperor and ripped off Cixi's clothes.
The splendid Qing Tombs have suffered repeatedly
In the spring of 1928, the Northern Expedition of the National Revolutionary Army had entered the Hebei region, and Zhang Zuolin, who was constantly defeated and retreating, led the Feng army to retreat north. After the National Revolutionary Army entered the Hebei region, it was constantly harassed by local bandits and bandits, and some scattered Fengjun scattered soldiers also came out from time to time to release cold guns.
Overwhelmed, the revolutionary army sent Sun Dianying's troops to suppress the bandits, and Sun Dianying just happened to pass through the Qing Tombs with his troops. He found that the ground buildings of the Qing Dongling Tombs were in a mess, and the demolition and destruction were complete, and there was no complete place.
A group of people who stole stones and wood from the ground floor were intercepted by the troops, and after being interrogated by Sun Dianying and others, they learned that it was now the imperial tomb of the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
And the treasure-rich underground palace was still buried underground and had not been stolen, and after listening to the thief's statement, Sun Dianying had a flash of inspiration, and an evil plan was being born in his heart.
It is said that the Qing Dynasty's Qing Dongling Tomb was built in the eighteenth year of Shunzhi and took 247 years to complete. The Qing Tombs have buried five emperors, more than a dozen empresses and more than a hundred noble concubines and princesses.
At the most glorious time of the entire imperial tomb, there were more than 200 palace arches, which were the largest in China. Among these cemeteries, the most famous are the Yuling Tomb in Qianlong and the DingdongLing Tomb in Cixi.
These two mausoleums were built at a cost of millions of taels of silver, and there are countless funerary items in them, the mausoleums are carved with dragons and phoenixes, magnificent, and the degree of luxury is not even lost to the Yuanmingyuan and the Forbidden City. These imperial tombs stood silently on the east side of the capital, witnessing the rise and fall of the Qing Dynasty.
In the 20th century, the crumbling Qing Dynasty was declared extinct after Puyi announced his abdication in 1912, and the Aixin Jueluo clan was unable to protect itself, let alone protect the imperial tomb.
The Qing Tombs, such an isolated and inviolable royal forbidden land, also became precarious after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. In the 1920s, after repeated raids by bandits and warlords, the treasures of the Ming buildings on the ground were looted.
What's more, even the Ming Building on the ground is not spared. They demolished the splendid and majestic buildings one by one, and stole the stones and wood for their own use. Thus comes the scene that happened above.
Sun Dianying sent troops to suppress the bandits and stole the imperial tomb by the way
The picture returned to Sun Dianying, and after learning the news, he dealt with the task of suppressing bandits explained above on the one hand, and on the other hand, he began this plan in his heart.
At that time, there were bandits hiding in the Malanyu area of the Qing Dynasty, and they were also robbing tombs. In the name of suppressing the bandits, Sun Dianying immediately gathered his troops and set off, and the bandits immediately fled after seeing Sun Dianying's arrival.
However, although the bandits left, Sun Dianying did not leave. Looking at the Qing Dongling Tomb in front of him, Sun Dianying began his own tomb robbery under the banner of "expelling the sins of the Manchu Qing Dynasty".
At that time, he first issued a manifesto, the content of which was roughly divided into two parts, the first part of which was that the tombs of the Qing Dynasty Tatars were now at his feet, and his grandson Dianying was ordered to go north, not only against warlords, but also against the remnants of the Manchu Qing.
We blew up the tombs of the Manchu Tartars, not by robbing tombs, but by revolution. The second part of the manifesto is even more absurd, with Sun Dianying saying that he is a descendant of Sun Chengzong, a famous anti-Qing general in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
It is said that after the Qing army entered the customs, they found the descendants of Sun Chengzong who had made themselves suffer a lot, slaughtered them, and also destroyed Sun Chengzong's ancestral grave, and only Sun Dianying escaped in the chaos.
Therefore, the Manchu Qing and he had a deep blood feud with him, and there was such an opportunity to avenge the digging of the grave, Sun Dianying would definitely not let it go.
No matter how grandiose the reason, there is only one target - tomb robbery, and The Yuling Tomb in Qianlong and the DingdongLing Tomb in Cixi, known as the "Golden Tomb", are doomed. Immediately, Sun Dianying divided his troops into two routes and ordered his subordinates to march to the two cemetery palaces to rob the tombs.
Crazy grave robbery, destruction accidents, humiliation of corpses
Under the meticulous planning of Sun Dianying, the soldiers' tomb robbery operation began in a big way, and some of the tufuzi in the army took Sun Dianying to the entrance of the Yuling Underground Palace smoothly, and the place name was called "Dumb Courtyard".
Legend has it that the craftsmen who repaired the Yuling Tomb for Qianlong all made Qianlong dumb to prevent them from revealing the secrets of the imperial tomb. On the north side of the dumb courtyard, there is a glass shadow wall, and under the shadow wall is the entrance to the tunnel. This wave of operations greatly accelerated the pace of tomb robbery by the troops.
However, Sun Dianying, who was obsessed with money, still felt that he was not fast enough, and ordered people to take out explosives and directly blast open the gate of the Yuling Underground Palace. The troops digging Cixi's tomb in the distance heard the sound of explosives popping, and immediately took explosives and blew them all the way to cixi's underground palace.
The two impregnable mausoleums were blasted by the explosives, and it did not take long for Sun Dianying's troops to smoothly enter, and the tomb robbery team that entered the interior of the underground palace was completely crazy.
They looked at the mountains of gold and silver treasures and the splendid underground palace buildings in front of them, and while cursing the Manchu Qing Tatars for their extravagance, they began a tomb robbery atrocities that were difficult to describe.
The soldiers who fell into madness were afraid that they would take it slowly and take less, so they snatched each other, and the scene even lost control for a while, almost mutiny. After Sun Dianying and the guards shot and killed some soldiers, the situation was controlled and the tomb robbery operation was able to "operate normally.".
Sun Dianying spent seven days and seven nights robbing tombs and transporting stolen goods outwards, and after everything that could be moved in the underground palace was removed, they started the idea of corpses.
It turned out that when the nobles were buried, they had to seal their nine tips with jade (the eyes, nose, anus, and genitals were called the nine tips) to prevent their bodies from being eroded by mercury and destroyed.
A prosperous emperor like Qianlong, the jade that sealed him with nine tricks must be a unique treasure, so the tomb robber reached out his hand to Qianlong's corpse and found that he really had precious jade in his mouth.
However, the tomb robbers could not take the treasure jade out of his mouth, and Sun Dianying's heart was crossed, so he smashed all the teeth in Qianlong's skull and took the jade out.
Then, he threw the skull casually, and the head of the former generation of Heavenly Sons rolled into the puddle of the underground palace. However, compared to Qianlong, Cixi was even more miserable.
The body of Cixi, dressed in a golden jade robe, was stripped clean the first time the tomb robber opened the coffin, and the jade jewelry in the nine tricks of the body was also taken out by the tomb robber.
Of course, this was not the end of it, many soldiers saw Cixi's undefiled body and began to molest. This noble and extravagant old lady could not have imagined that she would suffer such a calamity after death.
As soon as Sun Dianying's tomb robbery incident came out, it shocked Huaxia, and Puyi angrily rebuked the revolutionary army's blood letter, demanding that the revolutionary army give itself justice, and people of insight in society also stood up one after another to angrily denounce this evil act, hoping that the Kuomintang authorities would give an explanation.
But Sun Dianying is very good at things, in order to calm the anger of the public, he is crazy to give the rare treasures obtained by the tomb robbers to his boss, hoping that they can take care of the aftermath for themselves.
At the same time, he also gave the most famous night pearl in the treasure to Chiang Kai-shek's wife, Soong Mei Ling. According to legend, Cixi only contained this pearl of the night to make the body immortal for a long time.
When Sun Dianying gave this rare treasure to Song Meiling, she loved it. In this way, after the boss accepted a bribe from Sun Dianying, he really suppressed the matter and did not blame him.
But in any case, Sun Dianying's excavation of the mausoleum is a fact, and the despicable act of destroying the country's cultural treasures is destined to be spurned by future generations.
