The joint exhibition is hosted by Xining Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film and Television, Lanzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and organized by Xining Museum, Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Store, Lanzhou Museum, Yuzhong County Museum, Gaolan County Museum, and Yongdeng County Museum.

According to reports, the exhibition exhibits a total of 49 works of calligraphy and painting by famous artists in Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty, and 56 pieces of porcelain from the Five Dynasties and the Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are representative works selected from many collections in various museums in Lanzhou, including many works of Zuo Zongtang, Tang Lian, Zhu Kemin and other famous people, which is a mirror to show the development of longyuan land calligraphy and painting art, reflecting the outstanding characteristics of Lanzhou's profound culture.

Lanzhou and Xining, as important support cities in the Hehuang region, are clothed with water, have the same roots, have similar folklore, and are emotionally close, the two places have a good foundation for cultural exchanges for a long time, and have entered a new era, and both places belong to the national strategic fulcrum city of the Lanxi City Agglomeration and an important node city of the "Belt and Road", which provides more convenient conditions for in-depth cooperation.
