Apps that had previous iCloud issues would have 503 error messages like "Request failed, http status code 503", but multiple developers confirmed that these error messages seem to have disappeared in the last few days. Paul Haddad, a developer at Tweetbot, said he had "basically not" received reports of iCloud sync issues over the past few days.

The iCloud sync bug appears to come sometime around the end of November or early December, which is a headache for developers. App users who encounter iCloud sync issues don't know it's a problem on Apple's side, leading to blame for developers.

While most developers say that the sync issue is largely resolved, there are still some complaints about related issues, so Apple may still have some issues to fix.
