Meizu is seeking financing: it is in contact with Geely

Not long ago, there was a news that the automobile company Geely intends to acquire Meizu.

At that time, it was reported that Geely Group's mobile phone company was in contact with mobile phone manufacturer Meizu to negotiate an acquisition. The transaction is still ongoing and DD (due diligence) is being done.

This afternoon, according to the science and technology innovation board daily news, a person familiar with the matter confirmed that Meizu is currently seeking financing, and geely is still in contact, and the acquisition has not been discussed for the time being.

However, there is no news at present that there is no reason for the negotiation, and meizu may have higher requirements in terms of purchase price and gambling conditions.

In September last year, Li Shufu of Geely Group announced that the total investment in mobile phone projects was 10 billion yuan, positioning high-end mobile phones.
