On January 26, 2022, Lenovo Group today announced that it has once again been named to the 2022 Gender Equality Index (GEI), which recognizes companies that are committed to improving transparency in gender reporting and promoting women's equality in the workplace.

It is reported that the entry threshold of the GEI index has been raised year by year, the number of companies disclosing data is also constantly hitting a new high, and the quality of disclosure has steadily improved, and a total of 418 companies headquartered in 45 countries and regions have been included in the index. The GEI index is scored based on five key indicators of gender equality, including female leadership and talent pool, equal pay and inter-gender pay parity, a culture of inclusion, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brands. Lenovo's overall score was higher than the average of the GEI index, with a particularly strong performance in terms of a culture of inclusion and transparency in gender-related measures and policies.

Diversity and inclusion have always been rooted in Lenovo's corporate culture. Since 2018, Lenovo has taken the lead in releasing its annual Global Diversity and Inclusion Report within the industry, disclosing affirmative action indicators and goals, including gender equality. Diversity and inclusion reflect the importance that companies place on social responsibility and are one of the key indicators that ESG values. According to the "Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Report for the 2020/21 Fiscal Year" released by Lenovo Group on September 6, 2021, the proportion of female employees in Lenovo is increasing globally, of which 21% are female executives and 36% are non-executive female employees, all of which are on the rise. Lenovo plans to increase the proportion of female executives worldwide from 21% in 2020 to 27% by fiscal year 2025/26, fully supporting female employee development.

In addition, Lenovo also supports employees to create internal organizations, create rich employee community activities, and create a positive, diverse and enterprising work environment. At present, Lenovo has established 14 employee resource groups to protect the interests of employees and promote mutual assistance and exchanges among employees. For example, the Lenovo Women's Leadership Resource Group aims to provide professional career development and skills training for female employees; the Lenovo Rising Star Program, which provides assistance for newcomers to the workplace.
