A few days ago, a group of winter test spy photos of Volkswagen Lanjing X were exposed. As a sibling of the Tuon X, the new car will only be launched in the Chinese market and is expected to be officially launched in late 2022 or early 2023.
As a cross-border version of the Lanjing model, the new car basically retains the design elements of the Lanjing, only after the C-pillar is more compact, the roof line has a clear cross-border style design at the rear, and the height of the car should be reduced accordingly. At the same time, the new car will have a 5-seat layout.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with the same powertrain as the Lanjing, including a high and low power 2.0T engine and a 2.5T engine, matched by a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, and equipped with a 4 MOTION four-wheel drive system of the sixth-generation BorgWarner-Hend differential.
