China Youth Daily Client News (China Youth Daily, China Youth Network reporter Zhang Qian) The Beijing Winter Olympics is not only attractive for sports events, but also beautiful visual design. Beijing Printing Institute can be seen in the "Creative Design of opening and Closing Ceremony Manual", "Multimedia Visual Effects", "Ink Animation" and "Sports Pattern" creativity and production of the opening ceremony, the landscape design of the Winter Olympic venues, and the design of the visual image system for urban volunteers.

When the Olympic anthem was played again at the National Stadium, when a series of Chinese ink character animations helped the ice and snow rings rise in the Bird's Nest, the audience was hit by the Chinese ink animation ice cube. This design was completed by the digital ink animation innovation design team led by Professor Gao Yanmei of the New Media Art High-precision Innovation Center of Beijing Institute of Printing and Printing.

The team uses the traditional Chinese culture of "visual image to take meaning" ink art techniques, using three-dimensional ink animation, naked-eye holographic ink animation, digital calligraphy animation methods, to extract the inner "look" and "wonderful meaning" of the moving human form, cultivate the traditional calligraphy brushes into a modern form containing deep sensual life, make a breakthrough in drawing through the new ink digital brush, and present the rhythm of life with ink art.
