The new generation of Honda Civic has been officially launched in September last year, and the exterior design of the new generation model is softer than the coupe style of the previous generation, especially the bland tail styling. Of course, compared to the sedan version, the hatchback version with the hatchback design is significantly more sporty.
The previous generation of hatchback version of the Civic rushed to achieve domestic production with the tail of the replacement, and was named Civic HatchBACK, although it was niche, but it definitely had a lot of hardcore fans. As for whether the hatchback version of the new generation of Civic can continue to introduce domestic production is still unknown, but from the perspective of the actual cars currently unveiled in the overseas version, the appearance design of the new generation of Civic is still very eye-catching.
The front face shape of the hatchback version is consistent with the sedan version, although at first glance it feels that the front face of the new model is less athletic than the old model, but in fact, the new model is still very sharp in details.
In particular, the protruding angle shape of the front end of the cover, against the background of the adducted middle net, is very aggressive, the slender headlight shape is also very sharp, and the protruding spoiler shape in the lower part of the front bar is still very moving.
The side of the new hatchback version looks significantly more stretched and smooth than the old FK7, in addition to the longer body size, the C-pillar triangular window shape and the more slippery rear windshield are also indispensable, compared to the sedan version, the hatchback version is indeed more youthful and sporty.
The taillight shape of the sedan version is too bland, and even a little bit of the feeling of the old quick taillight, but the hatchback version of the transverse taillight is obviously much more lively, and the hatchback rear tail box also has a larger opening, which is more flexible and practical than the sedan version.
However, compared with the hatchback version of the previous generation, the new tail shape is also significantly converged a lot, canceling the design of the old upper and lower two tails, and only using a cornered duck hip spoiler shape in the lower part of the rear windshield.
The interior part will also be consistent with the sedan version, compared to the old model, the new generation of interiors is still a very simple style, but the sports atmosphere is significantly improved.
The overseas version of the new generation Ofteros hatchback will be equipped with 2.0L and 1.5T engines, of which the 2.0L engine has a maximum power of 160 hp and a maximum power of 187 Nm. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 182 hp and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The drivetrain is a 6-speed manual with A CVT gearbox.
