In February 1993, the first tourist ropeway in Fuzhou, the Drum Mountain Cable Car, was successfully opened for operation. This is also the only ropeway in the main urban area of Fuzhou so far. According to the renovation plan, the Drum Mountain Ropeway Lower Courtyard Station, which is about 200 meters away from the Drum Mountain Station of Metro Line 2, will be transformed and upgraded to achieve a comprehensive connection between the ropeway and the subway.
