With the theme of "Folk Customs Heart , Cross-Strait Blessings", the event set up ten blessings welcome, folk garden, national tide folk customs hui (including the launching ceremony and four folk art special sessions), Fengyaxu City (including the "little inheritor" cultural market, the tip of the tongue food gathering, Fujian and Taiwan cultural and creative experience), the cross-strait folklore exhibition hall, street art collection, 6 functional area modules, will bring Fuzhou citizens a picture of the Qingming River with excellent viewing and distinctive characteristics of the cross-strait folk culture, and present a festival and cultural event that gathers the essence of folklore on both sides of the strait.
According to reports, in order to better show the living inheritance of folk culture, this folk culture festival is set up in Liangcuo, a traditional ancient village with the reputation of "Fuzhou Art Gateway" and "the most beautiful village in the city". The folk customs format is placed in the extremely grounded village scene, showing the citizens a picture of the village life of folk culture and showing the good ecological environment of Fuzhou folk culture. The event selected 7 ancient houses that have been repaired in Liangcuo for the exhibition halls of 6 districts and 6 counties of Fuzhou, high-tech zone and Taiwan, so that the folk customs display is fully integrated into the village and the original appearance of folk life is restored. In order to make the cultural identity of each exhibition hall stronger, a suitable link was also created for each museum.
In order to reflect the inheritance and exchange of folk culture between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, this year's Folk Culture Festival has set up a sub-venue in Matsu, Taiwan, at which the launching ceremony will be connected to the sub-venues to watch the New Year's greeting videos and folk art programs of Taiwan compatriots. A separate Taiwan Pavilion was set up in the Ancient House, which focused on displaying Taiwanese folk customs and handicrafts, and carried out tourism promotion, live streaming and other activities. The theme of the folklore festival is intended to be written by Taiwanese calligrapher Wang Jinshun, winner of the German Red Dot Award at the International Design Award, and the third and fourth generations of Taiwanese heirs of The Crane Eater are invited to perform live. In the "Guochao Folk Customs Hui" area, folk performances, martial arts performances, Fuzhou Hokkien songs, and traditional cultural theme music 4 performances took turns to appear; in the "Fengyaxu City" area, "Little Inheritors" - cultural market, tip of the tongue food gathering, Fujian-Taiwan cultural and creative experience of more than 100 points in the three sections will be delicious and fun; in the "Folk Garden" area, the folk customs team parade in various counties and districts will be in the most grounded form to welcome the spring. The activities are rich in content, diverse in form, and arranged in a planned manner in the village, so that the perceptions of the public such as sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, and body are fully mobilized, creating a highly experiential cross-strait folk customs festival event.
