Conghua Hot Spring Scenic Area
Conghua Hot Spring Scenic Area, also known as Liuxihe Hot Spring, is a well-known scenic spot and health resort at home and abroad. Conghua Hot Spring is located in Conghua Hot Spring Town, northeast of Guangzhou, 75 kilometers away from Guangzhou. The spring water is attached to the granite fissures of the Yanshan period, distributed in bands along the banks of the Liuxi River and the valley floor, and concentrated in the hot spring recuperation area of the hot spring town, the material pond of Liangkou Town and the Xiangyang of Jiekou Town, and most of them are exposed in the rising spring. The spring water is colorless and odorless, crystal clear, containing elements such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, silica and radon. There are 12 springs found in the area, with a minimum temperature of 36 °C and a maximum temperature of 71 °C.

History
Conghua Hot Spring has been developed and utilized in ancient times, known as the "First Spring of Lingnan"; the Tianyi Monument built a hundred years ago is called "This Water Can Cure All Diseases"; the hot springs were further developed at the beginning of this century; facilities were gradually improved after liberation; and the recuperation area and tourist area were introduced. On March 11, 1988, with the approval of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, a comprehensive nature reserve was established here to protect underground hot water resources, surface water and natural landscape of Liuxi River.

waterfall
The hot spring waterfall is located on the stone cliff of Toujia Mountain, in the middle reaches of the Toujia River, 3 kilometers away from the Hot Spring Bilang Bridge. The waterfall is divided into 5 levels, known as Baizhang Waterfall, Feihong Waterfall and Xiangfan Waterfall.
The Baizhang Waterfall is composed of 1, 2 and 3 waterfalls. During the Republic of China, Zou Lu, president of Sun Yat-sen University, wrote Su Dongbo's poem "Hundred Zhangs Flying Waves Leaking heaven", which was engraved on the source stone of the waterfall. In 1962, Chairman Zhu De's handwritten "Mountain Dancing Silver Snake" was engraved on the cliff of Baizhang Waterfall.
Flying Rainbow Waterfall is level 4, the waterfall rumbles, rain and fog take off, the sun is shining, colorful, and the flying rainbow is in the valley.
Xiang fan waterfall is the 5th level, the waterfall pours, the water mist like powder flying, filling the valley. Legend has it that the locals used the waterfall to promote the water to make "incense powder" (a tree on the mountain was processed into powder, and now used as a raw material for mosquito coils), so it is called "incense powder waterfall".
Hot spring water
Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, on both sides of the hot spring stream, many springs naturally gushed hot water, and a large amount of water formed a hot water pond (now Liuchunting Big Pond), and the hot springs on the northeast side of the river gushed out to form "hot sand". The hot spring water is hot, known locally as "hot spring", and is used for washing and bathing. In 1960, the mineral water quality of the hot spring was scientifically identified by the mineral water group of the hydrogeology team of the Guangdong Provincial Geological Bureau, and it was confirmed that the hot spring hot water was rare and precious radon-containing mineral water, and the water quality was crystal clear, colorless and odorless. The main ingredients of the hot spring contain more than 10 kinds of elements such as silicon dioxide, radon, calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, ammonium, chlorine, and fluorine.
There are 1O hot springs that have been developed and utilized in the hot spring scenic area, with an average daily self-flow of about 1400 cubic meters, the maximum daily flow rate is 3000 cubic meters, and 27 units in the scenic area have used hot spring water.
The main cultural landscapes of the hot spring are Di Cui Pavilion, LiuChun Pavilion, Qingyin Pavilion, Bilang Bridge, Hot Spring Lake, Tianhu Lake, Tianyi Office, Waterfall Pavilion and so on.

Hot spring features
The hot springs gush out from the bottom of the Liuxi River, and there are more than ten springs, distributed on both sides of the Liuxi River. The Ming and Qing dynasties have developed and utilized the hot springs here, and have always been known for their good water quality, high water temperature and peculiar spring scenery. Conghua Hot Spring is a rare soda spring containing radon and multi-bell elements, with crystal clear water, colorless and odorless. It is known as the first hot spring in Lingnan and can be compared with the world's famous springs.
