RSPCA: There are no plans to provide animal welfare protection courses for Zuma and no donations have been received

Live Bar Feb. 12 French defender Zuma, who plays for West Ham, has been criticised for his video of cat abuse in social media. Team coach Moyes said in a pre-match press conference yesterday that the RSPCA (British Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) will provide Zuma with a lesson on how to treat animals. At the same time, Zuma's 2-week salary (about 250,000 pounds) will be donated to animal charity.

However, according to the latest statement issued by the RSPCA on Saturday local time, there are no plans to provide animal welfare related courses to Zuma, and no donations have been received. For now, the RSPCA's focus remains on conducting comprehensive and thorough investigations by experienced officials.

According to BBC journalist Simon Stone, Moyes' remarks in the pre-match press conference are currently only at the level of the club and Zuma himself, who believe that the investigation of the cat abuse incident needs to be concluded before action is taken, no matter what the outcome.
