Wang Dengbao' ancestral home is Lujiang County, Anhui Province, and he was born in 1952 in Zhoutou Township, Susong County. Based in Jiujiang City, he is currently the director of Jiujiang Xuncheng Art Museum. Former member of the Standing Committee of the Jiujiang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, president of the Jiujiang Municipal Security Chamber of Commerce, and president of the Jiujiang Private Economy Research Association. He has loved calligraphy and collecting since he was a child, and is now a national first-class artist, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Central State Organs Book Association, a visiting professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, a member of the China Association of Chinese National Architecture, a director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Professional Committee of the Chinese National Architecture Research Association, a member of the China Collectors Association, a national professional art appraiser, and an innovation and entrepreneurship tutor for college students in Jiangxi Province. The calligraphy works have been presented to the national "two sessions" many times, and have been collected by the Great Hall of the People, the Auditorium of the People's Political Consultative Conference, and the national multi-departmental and college museums. The calligraphy "Da Hong Pao" published by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House, "Collection of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Calligraphy Masters One By One Wang Dengbao", was rated as "China Intangible Cultural Heritage Publication" by the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Office in 2020 and was included in more than 50 authoritative books such as "History of Contemporary Art, Chinese Calligraphy" and "History of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy". He was awarded the honors of "National Lei Feng Advanced Individual" and "Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor" and was awarded the medal.
In 2014, together with Ouyang Zhongshi and Shen Peng, he published and distributed the duo "Chinese Art Dream".
