Wang Yunxiang was born in a scholarly family, his father is a teacher, his grandfather is Xiucai, his great-grandfather is Guangxu Gongsheng, and his family is written in the family tree of the Guangxu year of the Qing Dynasty, and his family is Jiangdong Wang Dao, Wang Xi's lineage, and historians have verified that Wang Yunxiang is the 76th grandson of the sage Wang Xi. Generations have written well. The profound family education has nurtured him since he was a child. At the age of 6, under the guidance of his father, he started with "Yan Liu", laid a solid foundation in regular script, and won the first prize in calligraphy and painting when he was a child. In 1983, Wang Yunxiang's calligraphy works participated in the national calligraphy exhibition and won the Excellence Award, and won awards in dozens of domestic and international competitions.
In 2007, Wang Yunxiang went to South Korea with the Chinese calligraphy delegation for a visit and exchange. In 2008, Jiangsu TV made a special report on Wang Yunxiang's calligraphy, and various newspapers and periodicals such as "Calligraphy News" and "Calligraphy Herald" made special page introductions. In 2008, his calligraphy works were exhibited at the Olympic Games (Water Cube Venue) and were collected by the state.
