Lo and behold, this faience pot from the Western Zhou-Spring and Autumn Period, with a red pottery coat throughout, the neck and shoulders are painted yellow and white, and three sets of irregular grid patterns are painted in dark red, and the inner circle is dotted, alluding to the pastoral. There is also a group of vine grape patterns, the branches are curly, and the fruits are abundant.
This clay pot has a novel pattern and a strong atmosphere of life, and is one of the finest faience potteries in Xinjiang. The Chawuhu culture is a distinctive regional culture in the southern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains, and the grape pattern on this faience pottery indicates that the earliest horticultural cultivation had already appeared in this area at that time.

The upper is woven with fine hemp rope, the sole is woven with thick hemp rope, the toe is pointed round and slightly upturned, and the laces are woven into a knot with thick hemp rope. In the Tang Dynasty tombs in the Turpan region, a number of similar hemp shoes were excavated, and in the silk paintings excavated from the Tang Tomb No. 187 in Astana, several ladies also wore such hemp shoes, indicating that woven shoes were commonly used shoes worn by men and women at that time.

The skirt is decorated with narrow pleats, with multiple strands of yellow twisted thread, and the obvious frame line and animal pattern outline are woven in the embellished tapestry and red wool cloth, which plays a certain decorative role. Animal pattern is a prominent theme ornament in the fabric pattern unearthed from Shanpu, and the patterned and deformed patterns highlight the forms of various animals. The popularity of animal prints in this area conveys people's wishes for the blessing of the gods and the safety of the people of Guotai, and also reflects the development of animal husbandry and the development of social economy in the Shanpura area.

This brocade pattern is an oval large bead pattern circle, the beads are facing each other, the middle is sandwiched with "hui" glyph ornamentation, and the middle of the beads and the "hui" pattern is sandwiched with lotus seeds, which are composed of white, blue, yellow, green, azure and other colors, and the edge has white silk lotus leaf edges. The whole pattern is symmetrical and rigorous, and the color contrast is strong and extremely decorative. The covering is a covering the face of the deceased during funerals, which has appeared in the Central Plains before the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the large number of coverings excavated from the Astana Tomb shows that the economic ties and cultural exchanges between the Turpan region of Xinjiang and the Central Plains around the Tang Dynasty were extensive and profound.

This carpet uses natural plant dyes and mineral dyes. Plant dyes are natural flowers, plants and roots, and mineral dyes are cinnabar, laterite, etc. Carpet is the most distinctive one of Xinjiang wool fabrics. It is formed by the union of two organizations: one is the basic organization of the fixed blanket, also known as the ground organization, and the other is the velvet organization of the blanket, which is also called the velvet or velvet head. The surface of this kind of velvet blanket is covered with a layer of flat and plump fluff, which is elastic, warm, strong and wear-resistant, and is still a necessity for people in grasslands and cold areas.

Precious character figurines make wonderful appearances and vivid images
In addition to the "silk-painted female dancing wooden figurines" that have appeared in "National Treasures" previously introduced, this exhibition also exhibits a number of precious figure figurines treasured by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum, with vivid images and exquisite production techniques.

This eunuch figurine, using a wood-carved head, painted face, the chest is glued directly under the neck with a square wooden strip, the wooden chips are made into legs and feet, glued to the sides of the square wooden strip, and the arms are made of paper twist. He wears a black gauze hat and a yellow diamond-patterned tunic with a black belt. The eunuch figurines are pale, stand a pair of fan-style ears, raise eyebrows and hang eyes, collapse the bridge of the nose and flat nose, upturned red lips and large mouth, and have an abominable face, showing the form of "yellow-clothed messengers" who are flattering and deceitful.
