The first Junior CBA Chinese National Challenge is jointly created by the CBA League and the main sponsor of the league, Chinese Life, and is a youth basketball training and event platform system built for teenagers as the target group.
The tournament was launched in December 2021, and the sub-stations were held in Jinan, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha, Suzhou and Shenzhen, resulting in 6 championship teams advancing to the national finals. The competition will conduct a comprehensive and professional quality assessment of the participating players, and the players will wear a portable ELECTROCARDI and EMG collection device (MetaCAF-C) provided by Shanghai Lingxin Sports Technology, which will help the coaches understand and grasp the muscle state of the players before, during and after the game and the recovery of sports after the game. At the same time, the competition is under the Shanghai Sports Institute's Sports and Fitness Center and the Dejiu Sports Rehabilitation Center to provide athletes with full event guarantee from pre-game warm-up to post-game recovery, and its professionalism is in line with the level of professional leagues.
Zhao Yinqiao, a player in the Jinan Sports School Team, said that he was very happy to represent the city in the junior CBA finals, the opponents are the highest level among their peers in the country, and they have not played such a high-level event, which is both exciting and nervous, and will definitely play the best level.
Wang Yong, head coach of the Shanghai Jiushi Youth Team, said that he would like to thank the CBA League and the organizers of the tournament for being able to provide such a valuable opportunity to play, and now the team's opportunities to play are very few, especially in national competitions, and players urgently need to improve their actual combat ability through such competition exercise opportunities.
