According to the new version of the "three guarantees" regulations for automobiles implemented from January 1, 2022, if the cumulative repair of the same quality problem exceeds 4 times or the cumulative repair time of the whole vehicle exceeds 30 days, the consumer can request the seller to return and replace the vehicle.
The 4S store admitted that Mr. Luo's vehicle engine failure lights lit up, vehicle shaking problems, since January this year to the store maintenance, 4S store has indeed not found out the cause of the failure.
The 4S store said that it is currently waiting for the manufacturer to further test and analyze the data. At the scene, Mr. Luo put forward his appeal.
According to Article 24 of the Provisions on the Responsibility for Repair, Replacement and Return of Household Automobile Products, if the repair is made more than 4 times due to the same quality problems during the validity period of the three guarantees, the consumer can choose to replace the car or return the car with the car purchase invoice and the three guarantee voucher.
The 4S shop said that it can return the car, but it is necessary to deduct a part of the cost according to the depreciation announcement.
In this regard, the lawyer said that within the three-guarantee period, consumers need to pay compensation fees to the seller for returning and replacing the car. At the same time, according to the latest regulations, consumers can also require car sales merchants to compensate for car registration fees and related service fees.
