Motive Studios and EA announced that they will open the live event on Youtube at 2 a.m. Beijing time on March 12, which will bring the latest intelligence of the Dead Space Remake.
At last year's EA Play Live launch, the classic sci-fi horror game Dead Space announced that it would bring a complete remake. In addition to improved visuals, it will leverage SSDs for next-generation hosts to eliminate load times while supporting 3D audio. Roman Campos-Oriola, the creative director of the previous game, said that the content of the original version of Dead Space that was cut due to technical limitations may be added to the remake.
In a recent developer livestream, Motive Studios showed a new variation of the classic dismemberment system, with each weapon having a different effect on enemies. In addition, the entire system of zero-gravity gameplay has been completely overhauled, and a tribute to Dead Space 2's zero-gravity gameplay is currently being considered, and new environments and challenges will be added.
Dead Space Remake hasn't announced a release date yet, but there have been previous rumors that the game could be released this fall and is expected to land on Xbox Series X/S, PS4/5 and PC platforms.
According to deadlines, Amazon is negotiating with Sony to adapt God of War into a live-action TV series and add it to the Prime Video membership system.
It is reported that Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, the producers of Amazon's much-appreciated science fiction show "Infinite Space", participated in the project in some capacity, along with Rafe Judkins, screenwriter of "Wheel of Time", and related staff of Sony Pictures TV and PlayStation Productions.
If the God of War TV series can be filmed as desired, it means that Sony will further increase the list of film and television adaptations of its game, thus bringing more iconic characters to other media. "Uncharted," starring Tom Holland, has just been released in theaters, while Sony is also working on adaptations of The Last Survivor and Chariot of Fire. In addition, Ruben Fleischer, the director of Uncharted, recently revealed that his next work will be a film adaptation of Jack and Darkster.
Amazon is also actively looking for games that are suitable for adaptation into film and television dramas. Series like the Fallout and Mass Effect series are in production, and Elysium Disco was recently agreed. I believe that in the time after that, we can see more and more film and television drama works adapted from games.
Bethesda currently has a lot of gameplay that hasn't been released yet, like long-term updates to Ghost Line: Tokyo, Starry Sky, and Fallout 76, and The Elder Scrolls 6, which doesn't know if the folder is built, but these don't seem to be all the games Bethesda is working on.
Recently, Twitter user SkullziTV pointed out that Bethesda has applied for a trademark for a project called "Spyteam". The trademark was applied for by Bethesda's parent company ZeniMax Media Inc and registered on January 28, 2022, so many netizens speculated that this mysterious "Spyteam" may be officially unveiled this year.
Although we don't know anything about the game at the moment, this is not the first time the name "SpyTeam" has been discovered. "SpyTeam" was first discovered by netizens in a 2018 trademark application, shortly after Bethesda announced the opening of a new studio in Austin, Texas, and announced the cancellation of the online action game Battlecry. Therefore, some netizens speculated that "SpyTeam" may be related to the project that Human Head Studio was engaged in before it was acquired by ZenniMax and transformed into Roundhouse Studio.
Since 2018, Bethesda has extended the trademark age of "SpyTeam" every year, and the current code name is basically everything we know. Some netizens speculated based on the LinkedIn page information of the former Senior Programmer of Roundhouse Studio that this game may be a third-person shooter game based on the online team PvPvE licensed by a large comic.
In addition to the mysterious "SpyTeam", jeff Grubb, a well-known melon eater, also broke the news that Bethesda is developing "Fallout: New Vegas 2". He said that the game is still in a very early stage, but Microsoft insiders think it is feasible, and there are many people interested in achieving it, obviously everything is speculation at the moment, we still have to wait for the official announcement of Bethesda.
Forspoken developer Luminous Productions has announced on Twitter that the game will be extended from its original release date of May 24, 2022 to October 11, 2022.
They tweeted: "Our vision for this exciting new IP is to give players around the world a game world and heroes that they want to experience in the coming years, so it's very important for us to do it well." Over the next few months, we'll focus all our efforts on perfecting every aspect of the game and can't wait for you to experience a fantastic adventure with protagonist Frey this fall. ”
Many of the developers behind Final Fantasy 15 were also involved in the game's development, including several legendary screenwriters such as Amy Hennig and Gary Whitta.
