Square Enix's "Moonlight Group" Luminous Productions' open-world ARPG "Forspoken" has received an ESRB rating from the North American Entertainment Software Rating Board, and the game has been rated M-17+. The game is scheduled to land on PS5 and PC on May 24, 2022.
In the ESRB's public rating information, Forspoken, which was rated M, was confirmed to contain "strong words and violent content", while the protagonist killed monsters through magic and violent scenes in which monsters attacked and killed humans in the cutscenes.
"Forspoken" tells the story of Frey, a young man from modern New York, who is teleported by chance to the magical, beautiful and cruel earth "Aixia", and embarks on an adventurous journey in this world to find her way home. Since it is a magical world, the protagonist Frey can naturally use magical powers to freely travel through the vast expanse of land and fight with terrifying monsters. According to this rating and description of the ESRB, the world may be more dangerous.
