As the Russo-Ukrainian War continues, many people find that Ukraine's position and attitude are no longer as firm as they once were. Previously, Zelenskiy repeatedly clamored for resistance with Russia to the end, but now it seems that Ukraine is still ready to soften. In addition to retreating on the issue of joining NATO, Ukraine now intends to negotiate its own territorial issues with Russia.
Suddenly, this change in Ukraine's attitude also made the United States very panicked, and when the territorial issue could be discussed, it was really impossible to imagine what steps Ukraine would make.
Zelenskiy made it clear that the issue of joining NATO is no longer difficult, because NATO is not willing to accept Ukraine, while the two "republics" in Eastern Ukraine and crimea issues, Zelenskiy said that he can negotiate and exchange on the territorial issue and find a compromise solution. Not only that, Zelenskiy also deliberately emphasized that "this does not mean that Ukraine surrendered."
But no matter how Zelenskiy defines his "big concession", whether it can be judged as surrender is not something he can decide. As the conflict continues to develop, Ukraine's attitude has changed, and it is still considered a compromise.
In fact, after Ukraine said that it would no longer be attached to the issue of joining NATO, it did not receive the expected relaxation of the situation, and Russia did not have any intention of ceasefire. Therefore, Zelenskiy once again stated that he would put the territorial issue on the table and clearly tell Russia that even if it is a territorial issue, we can talk about it.
At this point, several conditions of Concern to Russia may be met, such as Ukraine's non-membership in NATO, "de-militarization", neutrality, recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea, and recognition of the two "republics" of the Udon region. It is reported that these are also the conditions clearly put forward by Russia before Ukraine and Russia launched the third round of negotiations, but in the third round of negotiations, these issues have not made any substantial progress.
But this also makes people wonder, these issues are not discussed at the negotiating table, why did Ukrainian President Zelenskiy change his attitude greatly after getting off the negotiating table? The reason for this is that this has touched Zelenskiy's own interests. In other words, if Zelenskiy can surrender to Russia, he can at least guarantee that he will have a life, but if Zelenskiy sticks to the end, he may not be able to survive. As a puppet controlled by the United States and Western countries, Zelenskiy was instigated by the United States and the West to fall into a war with Russia, but these countries obviously had no intention of helping Ukraine, and Zelenskiy had to make a comprehensive measurement and calculation for his fate.
