At 4:00 p.m. local time on March 8, the Confucius Institute of the University of Debrecen in Hungary and the Bank of China Central and Eastern Europe Co., Ltd. held a cultural lecture in the large classroom of No. 58, the main building of the University of Debrecen. More than 20 students from the University of Debrecen who elected to give lectures on Chinese culture attended the lecture.

Dr. Joan doss Parr, Foreign Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Debrecen, delivered the lecture and delivered the opening speech. On behalf of the Confucius Institute, Professor Cui Xianjun, President of the Chinese Side, expressed his gratitude to Bank of China Central and Eastern Europe Co., Ltd. for its strong support for the work of the Confucius Institute and expressed his appreciation for promoting people-to-people exchanges between China and Hungary.
Tan Miao, Deputy General Manager of the Finance Department of Bank of China Central and Eastern Europe Limited, gave the first lecture, introducing the history and development of Bank of China in Hungary, competitive advantages, Sino-European cooperation and cooperation with universities. Tan Miao's lecture proceeded from the overall situation, looked at the big picture, and was rich in pictures and texts, clear and orderly. Peter Bakosh, Account Manager of the Finance Department of Bank of China Central and Eastern Europe Co., Ltd., combined his personal experience and used the method of comparative care to tell the issues of Cultural Differences, Culture Shock and Empathy Adjustment between China and Hungary, and explained them with pertinence and practicality. At the end of the lecture, Dr. Parr, Foreign Dean of confucius institute, made a brief summary.
Through the close cooperation between the Confucius Institutes at the Hungarian University and China's large state-owned enterprises, the event broadened the students' horizons, enhanced their cross-cultural communication awareness and ability, and enhanced their understanding of China's economy and finance.
