FAW-Volkswagen Tanyue is about to usher in a mid-term overhaul, and the new car has now completed its declaration and is expected to debut as soon as possible during the Beijing Auto Show in April. Tanyue mainly adjusted for the appearance details, still providing two appearances, slightly longer in size closer to Tiguan L, power continues to be equipped with 1.4T, 2.0T engines. In terms of price, it is expected that the starting price of new cars will remain at about 200,000 yuan.
The changes in the new Tanyue are concentrated in the front and rear parts of the car, equipped with an intake grille with "X" elements and a through-type taillight group, the ordinary version of the front bumper with rectangular decoration on both sides, the R-Line version of the front bumper is a through-type design, the vertical light strip on both sides is consistent with the new Sagitar, and the rear bumper of both versions is consistent with the current model. The size of the new car has not changed much, and only the length and height of the car have been slightly improved.
In terms of power, the new Tanyue continues to be equipped with the same 1.4T and 2.0T engines as the current model, the transmission system matches the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the 2.0T high-power model is equipped with a four-wheel drive system. Since the current Tanyue was affected by the particle trap incident last year, monthly sales have continued to be sluggish, and whether the remodeled model has solved the existing problems has become the focus of consumer attention.
