The Triton/L200 Rally Edition, which participated in the Asian Off-Road Rally (AXCR), was upgraded with a high-performance suspension suspension suspension system, fitted with off-road tires, wading hoses, tow hooks, roll cages, wide-body fenders and other components, while the body was fitted with a special custom livery of gray, red and black, and it is said that Mitsubishi will also modify the car's powertrain.
In addition, the car is equipped with conventional equipment such as race communication equipment, rally instruments, roof ventilation, call system, internal roll cage, barrel racing seats, and six-point seat belts. It is reported that Mitsubishi may launch a high-performance mass production version of the commercial vehicle according to the upgrading characteristics of the race version, which is expected to become a strong competitor of the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux GR Sport.
Mitsubishi Motors also said its Rallyart kit will also be applied to outlander PHEV, as Mitsubishi demonstrated at this year's Tokyo Motor Salon. The Outlander PHEV Ralliart is equipped with a radical body trim kit, 22-inch wheels and a specially tuned PHEV powertrain with higher motor output, a more sporty four-wheel drive system and a larger battery pack.
