Since the implementation of the forest chief system in my county, Linxi Town has conscientiously implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, firmly established the concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", accurately exerted force on the word "forest", performed its duties on the word "long", actively guaranteed the word "system", formed a work pattern in which the mountain is managed, the tree is protected, and the responsibility is shouldered, and the high-quality development of forestry is promoted, so that the background of Dongxiang is greener and the ecology is more beautiful.
Strengthen organizational leadership and build a responsibility system
Formulate and issue the "Implementation Plan for the Forest Chief System in Linxi Town, Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County", set up a leading group with the main leaders of the town party committee and government as the chief forest chief, form a team of forest chiefs at the town and village levels, set up 11 forest chiefs at the town level and 14 forest chiefs at the village level, hire 92 forest rangers for public welfare posts, divide 14 forest chief responsibility areas and implement unified management and grid management, realize full coverage of forest resource management and protection with responsibility at all levels and grasp the implementation step by step, promote the joint construction of "one network" between the party and the government, and link up and down to play "one game".
Carry out land greening and expand green space
Adhere to the combination of afforestation and greening projects with actions to improve the rural living environment, promote the greening of villages, roadsides, watersides and public areas, increase village greenery, and continuously improve the living environment and ecological environment. Combined with the study and education of party history, we have carried out in-depth "I do practical things for the masses" tree planting and greening practice activities, planted 0.2 million trees voluntarily, and built 8 voluntary tree planting bases. Focus on building the "Chengyang Bazhai One Bridge And One Line" rural revitalization demonstration belt and the Coma Boundary Red Army Road Revolutionary Site Belt, along the highways, villages and ancient roads planted with redbuds, plum blossoms and maple trees and other forestry vegetation, to achieve green ecology, red ecology and tourism ecology.
Strengthen forest management and build a solid green barrier
Establish a forest patrol and forest protection work account, organize forest chiefs and forest rangers to regularly patrol the forest, and resolutely stop and report illegal acts such as illegal logging, deforestation and reclamation, and hunting and killing wild animals; strengthen patrols and forest disease and insect monitoring and prevention work, find forest fire alarms and diseases and insects and report them in a timely manner, and regularly prune, weed, water, and fertilize trees to create a good growth environment. Actively carry out the inspection and protection of ancient trees and famous trees, and list 28 ancient trees in the town one by one, and the responsibility is up to the people. Through broadcasts, wall slogans, and outdoor advertisements, vigorously publicize the guidelines, policies, and laws and regulations related to forestry, and take multiple measures to build a solid green barrier.
Focus on the under-forest economy and strengthen green industries
Deeply implement the "double thousand" plan for oil tea, make every effort to build 2 thousand mu of oil tea planting demonstration bases such as Pingyan Taolin and Cheng Yang, and scientifically manage and protect 8 100 mu oil tea industry demonstration bases such as Kema Jie. Relying on the advantages of green ecology, ethnic culture and traditional villages of the Dong nationality, we will vigorously develop a new road for the integrated development of agricultural culture and tourism that combines "agriculture, forestry and leisure + ecological tourism + rural tourism", and transform ecological advantages into economic advantages.
At present, Linxi Town has 18,756.9 mu of public welfare forest, 150,995.1 mu of natural commodity forest, and 36,969.6 mu of camellia oil industry base, with a forest coverage rate of 77.2%.
