Guo Mingpei, a well-known analyst at Tianfeng Securities, tweeted on Monday (18th) that Quanta Shanghai will give priority to restoring Apple's MacBook production line, followed by Tesla's auto parts production line.

Mr. Kuo tweeted Monday that Quanta has about 40,000 employees and eight factories in Shanghai. According to media reports, about 2,000 employees of Quanta resumed work on April 18, with a resumption rate of more than 5%, and the resumption rate on April 22 is expected to be 15%. The F1 and F3 plants are gradually reopening. Quanta's F1 factory mainly produces on-board accessories such as Tesla, and the F3 factory produces Apple notebook computers.

Kuo pointed out: "As far as I know, Quanta first resumed apple MacBook production line, followed by Tesla. The F3 factory mainly produces Apple's new MacBook models, and if the supply of components goes well, it may help speed up the delivery time of the latest models."

The epidemic in Shanghai has affected the mainland economy and global supply chain, and the Shanghai Municipal Government has announced "666 key enterprises" as priority companies to resume work, and the industrial scope has been expanded to include semiconductors, automobiles and medical care, etc. TSMC Songjiang Factory and Riyueguang Semiconductor Pudong Shanghai Headquarters are included in the list.
