Bandai Namco has announced that Klonoa remasters of The Wind will be launched on multiple platforms on July 8.
The company said Thursday that the remake series will be released on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam, in addition to the confirmed Nintendo Switch version will also arrive on the same day.
The Kronoa of the Wind remake series will include HD remasters' original Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and its sequel, Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.
According to Bandai Namco, the Kronoya of the Wind remake series will introduce new features to classic games, including optional tutorials, support for two-player mode, "challenging" timing mode, and simple, normal, and hard selection modes.
The original , The Wind ' Kronoah " was released on playStation in 1997. Although the game received widespread acclaim in Japan and achieved some success, it did not sell well in Europe and the United States.
The first game was already remake in 2008, when developer Paon made a remake of the Wii platform. The remake also received rave reviews, but was considered a commercial failure, reaching 33rd place on the Japanese charts. Subsequently, the planned second remake of the game was canceled.
