Wang Chengye has been learning brocade weaving with his grandmother since he was 3 years old, and now he has his own Li Brocade "works" and has mastered 5 kinds of pattern patterns of Weaving Li Brocade. He hopes that he can be a non-hereditary heir like his grandmother and better display the Li brocade culture.
In recent years, Li Jin, with a history of more than 3,000 years, has frequently stepped onto the international stage. At the annual meetings of the Boao Forum for Asia, Li Jin was presented to politicians of various countries as a "national gift", and Li Jin's qipao was also used as the main ceremonial welcome dress to show the traditional culture of ethnic minorities in Hainan to guests from all over the world.

In this year's Boao Forum for Asia theme park, the rainforest culture exhibition curated by Wuzhishan City, li ethnic characteristic costumes once again appeared. The volunteers who shuttled through all corners of the exhibition area dressed in national costumes and dressed up in youth and fashion, became a dazzling scenery in the exhibition area.
This original Li costume design is from the hand of Chen Mengli, a Girl of the Li ethnic group in Hainan. As a returned college student, Chen Mengli has been committed to promoting Li Jin in her hometown. After graduating from university, he returned to his hometown to establish the "Buli Bushe" brand and carried out innovative design promotion of original clothing of the Hainan Li ethnic group. This year is the first time that Chen Mengli was invited to participate in the Boao Forum for product display, this time she brought more than 100 Li Jin element products, including original fashion Li Jin clothing, handbags, scarves, mouse pads, etc.
In fact, this is not the first time that Chen Mengli has brought original Li design works to the international stage. Previously, the Li Jin theme fashion show at the 2021 Hainan Island International Fashion Week was Chen Mengli's debut. In Chen Mengli's view, the traditional Li Jin elements can be combined with fashion trends to create a series of clothing and cultural and creative products suitable for the aesthetics of contemporary young people, so that Li Jin can be accepted by more people in a more youthful way.

Huang Lianghua, a provincial-level non-hereditary inheritor of the Hainan Li rice dance, and his companions performed the Li dance for the audience in the exhibition area in a marching manner. The three of them took turns waving and tapping the barrel with a wooden pestle, and the movements were neat and rhythmic, attracting many spectators to watch. "The Li Rice Dance is a celebratory dance that Li women have evolved from their rice mill labor." Huang Lianghua said that the Li ethnic rice dance is infectious, and many spectators follow suit, and the scene is lively.
In the national intangible cultural heritage exhibition area, melodious and pleasant music is often heard. Here, Chen Xiuxing, a provincial-level non-hereditary heir of the Hainan Miao Panhuang Dance, wears a performance costume, carries a leather drum and a copper gong, and demonstrates the ancient dance from the deep mountain rainforest with his companions. Huang Hailin, a Girl of the Li ethnic group in Hainan, led her team to show the charm of the Li bamboo and wood instrumental music to the audience.
Huang Hailin introduced that since its establishment in 2016, the "Five Finger Mountain Voice Li Bamboo and Wood Instrument Orchestra" has developed 38 members. In recent years, in the process of inheriting the Li musical instruments, the team has changed and innovated the traditional Nose Flute, Burning Bar and other Li instruments, solved the problems of narrow sound range and low timbre, and the current repertoire that can be played in addition to traditional Li songs, as well as folk songs and pop music from all over the world, has better stage performance and is loved by the audience.
"Our team is often invited to carry out cultural and hometown promotion and commercial performance activities in various places, and performs more than 100 times a year. Previously, we have also visited Russia, Germany, Sweden and other countries for cultural exchange activities. Huang Hailin believes that the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage should not lie coldly in the museum for display, but be able to "come out" for a live display, "singing their own national culture in every corner." ”
Walking in the exhibition area, from the exquisite Li Jinmiao embroidery, melodious and pleasant national musical instruments, to the enthusiastic Li Miao song and dance and the national cultural and creative products that embody the labor wisdom of Li Miao compatriots, Li Miao culture is showing the traditional cultural customs of Hainan nationality to guests at home and abroad with its own unique charm.
