At the award ceremony, Professor Lu Wenbin of the School of Literature of Beijing Language and Culture University read out the winners of the first Liang Xiaosheng Youth Literature Award, and a group of guests delivered award speeches for the winners. The Liang Xiaosheng Youth Literature Award takes "youth", "originality" and "internationality" as the selection principles, aiming to tap outstanding talents and add luster to contemporary Chinese literature.
According to reports, the first call for papers for the award was officially launched in May 2021, and by the end of July, nearly 1,000 submissions had been received from all over the world. Among them, 237 novels, 255 novellas, and 498 short stories were produced, and 4 (articles) were finally produced, and the long novel award was vacant.
In the award ceremony, Shangguan Wenlu, author of the novella award-winning work "Joy of Life", He Yanhua, author of "Ramso and the Tether", Tang Chengnan, author of the short story award-winning work "Moonlight Treasure Box", and Liang Nai, author of "Habteger and the Bull Horn", successively delivered acceptance speeches.

At the forum, Liang Xiaosheng shared his creative insights. Whether it is "Zhiqing", "Father" or "Human World", his characters are always flesh and blood, such as all sentient beings in reality. Liang Xiaosheng believes that the "vividness" of the character stems from the author's brushwork: "When I was writing, I really felt that this character could not be in a static state for a long time. I want to introduce himself like a narrator, or ask him to introduce himself, and I have to make him move, to do something, to say something, even if it is done by one person in silence.
