Apple pushed the following system updates to all developer users in the early hours of this morning:
iOS 15.5 beta 3 (19F5062g)
iPadOS 15.5 beta 3 (19F5062g)
watchOS 8.6 beta 3 (19T5562f)
tvOS 15.5 beta 3 (19L5562e)
macOS 12.4 beta 3 (21F5063e)
This time, iOS 15.5 beta 3 does not have a visible function update, only modifies some of the functions in the system.
iOS 15.5 beta 3 modified the text description in iMessage to read "users of Apple devices" to "contacts using iMessage".
Apple's move is not known to be under pressure from the European Union, which recently said it would force Apple to open iMessage and communicate with other communication services.
The European Union is also becoming more and more comfortable on the road of mandatory control of Apple, from the mandatory opening of the App Store, the mandatory use of USB-C interfaces, and now adding a mandatory iMessage to communicate with other communication services.
In addition, Apple has modified several sensitive locations in the album memories, and if the user takes photos at these locations, they will not appear in the automatically generated "memories".
These locations are:
Israel Holocaust Memorial
Dachau concentration camp
Memorial to the Victims of the Holocaust in the United States
Majdanek concentration camp
Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe
Schindler plant
Bewrec extermination camp
Anne Frank House
Sobibor Extermination Camp
Treblinka Extermination Camp
Hiumno extermination camp
Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp
Photos taken by users at these locations will not appear in the automatically generated Memories, and iOS may add more sensitive locations in the future.
The iOS 15.5 beta 3 is just a small update, no new features have been added, small partners still wait for the next version to try it.
