Specifically, Tesla announced that from April 29, 2022, it will recall some imported and domestically produced Model 3 high-performance electric vehicles with production dates from January 12, 2019 to March 25, 2022, for a total of 14,684 (including 1,850 imported cars and 12,834 domestic cars).
Due to software reasons, the vehicles within the scope of this recall are in track mode, and the speed area in the center touch display only displays the speed value, missing the speed unit (KM/H). When the vehicle is driving in track mode, the above situation may affect the driver's correct understanding of the speed information, and in extreme cases, it will increase the risk of collision accidents and there are safety hazards.
Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will upgrade the software to 2022.12 or subsequent versions of the software free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology, and the upgraded vehicle will display the speed unit (KM/H) in track mode, and the user can complete the software upgrade without going to the store. For vehicles that cannot be recalled through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology, Tesla Motors (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will contact relevant users through the Tesla Service Center to upgrade the software for the vehicle free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
Tesla said that before the vehicle recall is implemented, users should drive the vehicle cautiously when using the track mode; and upgrade the vehicle software as soon as possible after receiving the notification of the recall software update.

Next, Chery Jaguar Land Rover decided to recall some of the domestic 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport and 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport new energy vehicles produced between December 11, 2019 and March 3, 2021 from May 23, 2022, for a total of 30,517 units.
Due to the assembly process problems of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, there is a mechanism deformation in some of the engine cover secondary lock latches, which may cause the secondary lock latches to be locked; if the release cable resistance increases after a long time of use at this time, the primary lock latches are not locked, and the engine cover may be opened in the vehicle driving, affecting the driver's line of sight and there is a safety hazard.
Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the hood secondary lock latch and the hood primary lock latch free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.

In addition, BYD decided to recall some Of the Tang DM models produced from September 2, 2021 to March 14, 2022, starting from April 29, 2022, for a total of 9,663 electric vehicles.
Due to manufacturing reasons, the installation surface of the pallet breathable valve is uneven and there is a risk of water ingress due to manufacturing reasons. This may cause the electrical circuit failure of the power battery system, and in extreme cases, there is a risk of thermal runaway of the power battery, and there is a safety hazard.
BYD Automotive Industries Co., Ltd. will entrust authorized dealers to inspect the vehicles within the scope of the recall, and if there is leakage of electricity in the battery pack or the installation surface of the tray ventilation valve is uneven, the battery pack will be replaced free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.

At the same time, Toyota announced that it will recall a total of 6,832 Lexus NX 260, NX 350h, and NX 400h+ vehicles with production dates from March 31, 2021 to March 17, 2022, effective May 11, 2022.
Due to the improper internal control procedures of the multi-function display system, when the gear shift operation or the vehicle is driven, the picture of the multi-function display may not be able to switch normally, and the video screen played before will be maintained on the display at this time, which may distract the driver's attention and there are safety hazards.
Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the multi-function display program for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology, and the user can complete the program upgrade without going to the store; for vehicles that cannot be recalled through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology, Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will contact the user to upgrade the multi-function display for the vehicle through the Lexus dealer to eliminate the safety hazard
Toyota also announced that it will recall a total of 2,589 Lexus NX 260, NX 350h, and NX 400h+ vehicles imported from March 31, 2021 to January 28, 2022, effective May 11, 2022.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may have leaked welding inside the fender assembly assembly used to fix the left/right front shock absorber due to improper welding equipment procedures, and when the vehicle is continuously used in this state, cracks may occur around the welding point, which will affect the driving stability of the vehicle in extreme cases and there is a safety hazard.
Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will check the left/right front fender fender assembly free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall for leakage of welding or cracks in the steel plate, and if there is a leaky weld, it will be welded; if there is a crack, replace the front fender fender assembly to eliminate safety hazards.

Finally, Volkswagen China has decided to recall a total of 12 imported Flying Spur and Continental GT series vehicles manufactured between September 27, 2020 and September 27, 2021, starting today.
The front seats of vehicles covered by this recall are equipped with seat belt assemblies that do not meet the design requirements, among which the front seat belt assembly may not be equipped with self-locking reels (ALRs) according to the design requirements, which will cause the child seats to not be properly restrained, and the risk of occupant injury will increase when the vehicle collides, and there is a safety hazard.
Do not install the child seat on the front seat until the recall is for repair, and install it in the rear seat when the child seat is required.
Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd. Bentley brand will be authorized dealers to inspect the front seat belt assembly for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge and replace them with seat belt assemblies that meet the design requirements as necessary to eliminate safety hazards.
Volkswagen China also announced that it will recall a total of 2,630 imported Bentayga series vehicles manufactured between August 3, 2020 and February 10, 2022, effective May 11, 2022.
Some vehicles covered by this recall may not have been properly locked into the seat rails due to improper assembly during the production process. In the event of a vehicle collision, the rear seats may move or deform, which will increase the risk of injury to the relevant occupants and pose a safety hazard.
Volkswagen (China) Sales Co., Ltd. Bentley brand will be used by authorized dealers to inspect and adjust the installation of rear seats for vehicles covered by the recall free of charge, and install two rail limiters on the inside of the seat to eliminate safety hazards.
