Four days before the official opening of the Second Railway Heritage Academic Symposium on May 14, an academic feast of railway heritage will be launched, and "heritage people" from all over the country will gather together to discuss the protection and development of the mainland railway heritage.
The conference was jointly sponsored by the Qilu Architectural Culture Research Center of Shandong Jianzhu University and the Industrial Heritage Committee of the Chinese Society of Cultural Relics, the Academic Committee of Industrial Architectural Heritage of the Architectural Society of China, the Industrial Heritage Department of the Committee of Famous Historical and Cultural Cities of China, the Academic Committee of Urban Planning History and Theory of the China Urban Planning Society, the Qingdao Urban and Rural Planning Society/Association, and the Railway Architectural Heritage Research Base of the Industrial Heritage Committee of the Chinese Cultural Relics Society and the Qingdao Urban and Rural Planning and Design Research Institute.
