Wen Zhaolun: The earth is rotating, and people can't stay in one position forever

If, in the 25 years since Hong Kong's return to the motherland, Hong Kong dramas have been a window for mainland audiences to explore Hong Kong culture, And Hong Kong actors are the narrators at the window. In the play, they emotionally interpret the changes in Hong Kong with their roles, and tell the story of Hong Kong to the mainland; In life, they also personally feel the rapid changes of the country and embrace the mainland with their hearts.

The vicissitudes of the sea float and sink with the waves, and the drama is exhausted; Today, Shaohua enjoys it together, and this sentiment is still the same. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, the Beijing News exclusively planned an interview with 14 Hong Kong actors, some of whom are still sticking to the front line of the television industry, and some of whom have lived a low-key and ordinary life. But they are all important witnesses to Hong Kong's return to the motherland. Through their moving stories, we try to relive the most precious golden age of Hong Kong TV dramas and evoke the emotional resonance of the blood between the two places.

Many people have been obsessed with Wen Zhaolun in the reading era, and in the 1980s and 1990s, the role of Qi Haonan in the Hong Kong drama "I Am Kind" starring him is a good memory for many people. After the ups and downs of life, Wen Zhaolun is now more willing to show his faith to the outside world at this moment.

Wen Zhaolun: The earth is rotating, and people can't stay in one position forever

Wen Zhaolun said that after so many years of debut, those fame and fortune were just a false name for him. Beijing News reporter Guo Yanbing photographed

He said that he was an actor and a singer because of how much fame and fortune he wanted to gain. For him, all efforts are due to like, "I entered the industry, not to become famous." Singing is because I like it, and acting is even more so, because I like it, I have an opportunity, I have an opportunity, I have seized it, and I get it. Someone always says, are you red? Are you overbearing again? Why is it all for someone to tell you? The earth is always rotating, people are also rotating, and it is impossible to stop in one position forever. So, do these false names matter? ”

Can't wait for PolyGram

The crappy pronunciation also embarrassed the record label owner

People familiar with Wen Zhaolun know that his personality is similar to many of the roles he plays, and he is a sentient and righteous person. He has always adhered to an optimistic attitude towards life, insisted, tried it, tried his best to dispel all sorrows, and raised his spirit to live a life. Therefore, he is accustomed to thinking things simply, and firmly believes in the principle of "as long as you like it". As a child, he was a music enthusiast, participated in many singing competitions during his middle school years, and won honors. In 1982, he participated in the first rookie singing contest held by TVB, that year the strongest people were like clouds, the champion was Mui Yanfang, and Wen Zhaolun, who stopped 15 places, was not for nothing, he was photographed by the producer of the Radio Television Department of Hong Kong and invited to host the children's program "Banana Boat".

After that, he went to Polygon Records to audition, and he laughed that time he almost "ruined" Polygon, "After I entered the studio, Polygon's boss was watching me outside." I thought that if the song "Descendants of the Dragon" was sung well, it would be released on the record. Together with the music, I sang and was so nervous. After singing a few words and stopping twice, they said, "My Mandarin pronunciation is too inaccurate." The expression on the boss's face at that time was really indescribable. Later, the staff told me, 'I'll contact you when I have news,' but I haven't waited for the news to this day (laughs)." Three years later, Wen Zhaolun signed a contract with a record label introduced to him by a colleague, and the album sold well, and won an award.

The outstanding performance in music has allowed Wen Zhaolun to smoothly enter the film and television industry. At the end of the 1980s, a Hong Kong drama "Duty-bound" made Wen Zhaolun, the villain of the play Ding Youkang, become popular overnight, and he played the strong contrast between appearance and heart to the extreme, and the audience hated the name Ding Youkang to the extreme.

It never floated because of the red

Pursuit is like a faucet, it can be turned on and off

In 1995, TVB Taiqing selected the top ten most popular Hong Kong dramas by the audience, and Wen Zhaolun alone accounted for three: "Duty", "I Am Kind", and "No Regrets in This Life". Next, his appearances in "Gray Net", "Fire Rose", "Third Type Court", and "Flowing Golden Years" are also popular works. Coupled with his ability to sing, he undoubtedly became one of the brightest new stars throughout the 90s of the last century. "It's not as exaggerated as you say. From the singer's point of view, he has attended some activities, has a lot of honors, and feels that it is very happy to pay back, and there is no such thing as how floating it is because of 'red'. People in that era were very simple, unlike the current entertainment environment, which was more pompous, and once it became popular, exposure, fame, traffic, and hot searches flocked to it. At that time, I was very wooden, only knew how to work steadily, and did not believe in the floating clouds around me. For the big red and purple, Wen Zhaolun thought very thoroughly, he felt that the matter of being sought after was like a faucet switch, which would be out of control after opening, but it was also related to time.

He knows that as an artist, the most important thing is to improve his business. He never lacks effort, and he can open up everything in order to do things well. When he was young, he filmed on TVB, he said, it was like being in a factory, shooting day and night, and even four days and three nights could not close his eyes, "After a few days of not sleeping, looking at his car in the parking lot, he did not have the strength and time to drive home, he only had a little strength to run to the car to get toiletries, wash in the bathroom, and take a nap in the back of the car." At that time, I would think, how can I sleep so short? Before I fell asleep, it was time to start work again. So, then I had a magic weapon, my bag, and you probably couldn't imagine what was going to be in my bag. By now, this bag has been improved for more than a dozen generations. Wen Zhaolun smiled and "showed off" his treasure chest, cold medicine, first aid supplies and daily necessities, "The filming conditions are difficult, sometimes I am the accompanying doctor in the crew, if there is a companion on location who is unwell, I can help them in time." This is a necessary guarantee for actors to shoot on the front line, this habit I have left until now, even the smallest bag can be stuffed for you (laughs). ”

Hard work makes you happy

Because of the truth, a word was sung for eight hours

In Wen Zhaolun's cognition, being busy as an artist is a very common thing. In the early 1990s, when he began to shift his career to Taiwan, he learned that so many people liked him. He began to push Chinese albums non-stop, making TV series and movies. Looking back, he said that every step had to be carried out by himself and survived by himself. "Every day they are 'transported' to different places to be busy, people are blind, almost in a semi-comatose state, one second they are still filming, the next second the record company people say 'Wen Ge, what time is it?'" It's time to start recording'. After recording the sound, I went to the set to catch up with the night scene. "Extreme busyness puts him on the verge of a nervous breakdown, but he's doing what he loves.

In those days, mentors and friends became his comrades-in-arms through the difficulties, and he is still full of gratitude, "When recording records, because the voice of the night scene was 'boiled', plus my Mandarin was not so standard at that time, and there was no music technology now, I could give you a sound repair and adjustment, it was all real." Fortunately, there is a producer Xu Jialiang teacher wrote me a lot of good songs, he accompanied me, very patiently sang over and over again, such as the "long" word in "How Long Can You Love Me", singing and singing feels not ideal, the two of us are very stubborn, just this 'long' word sang for eight hours. People who don't understand us will probably say, 'Is it necessary to be so truthful?' But we still think it's worth it. It was silly, but that hard time was my happiest time. ”

45-year-old "retirement theory"

I don't want to be arranged anymore, I just want to listen to my inner voice

As a public figure, no one can avoid being discussed by the outside world. Wen Zhaolun was also troubled by some illusory public opinion. But after thinking it through, he felt that all this was illusory. "When I was young, I couldn't figure it out, and I was more impulsive at the time, and many times I would 'plan', not only getting angry with myself, but also bringing trouble to my family." Later matured, figured out that these are not problems, I am in and not there, will encounter similar things, so, I want to experience the trouble as a kind of charity, public welfare, do not pay too much attention to other people's untrue ideas about you, there are always people who say that you are not good, you can not clear, right? ”

More than 20 years ago, Wen Zhaolun chose to move to Beijing and officially became a "North Drifter". He said that his wish since he was a child was to live in Beijing, "When I was a child, I saw a lot of pictures about Beijing, winding hutongs, and a thick layer of snow on the eaves. When I came, there was only Terminal One, then Terminal Two was built, and then there was Terminal Three (Terminal), and every time I thought about these pictures, I would feel 'too much change'. ”

At the age of 30, Wen Zhaolun had already thought about "retiring" at the age of 45. Courtesy of respondents

When Wen Zhaolun was 30 years old, he had already planned for his future, "When I was in my early thirties, I told an artist who was ten years older than me that I planned to 'retire at 45', and he was shocked and said, 'Are you thinking about this now?'" I explained that this plan refers to the age of 45 when I will enter the era of my decision. There have been too many things that have been arranged in the past, and I hope to be able to do what I like in the future, be selective, and listen to my own inner voice. He said that he has been trying to get out of the impetuousness of the circle for so many years, "This is a job, you should go home after the work, there is no need to fill yourself with socializing, thinking about how to fight, how to grab." When the business is done well, I am both a being, and this existence is also eternal. ”
