The brown-yellow spade prospocoilus astacoides belongs to the genus Beetle of the genus Coleoptera in the family Coleoptera, mainly distributed in Beijing, Henan, Hebei, Hubei, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guizhou and other places. The brownish-yellow spade carapace is yellowish brown to brownish red , and the edges of the head , thorax dorsal plate , small shield , and elytra are mostly black or dark brown; The upper jaw end and the center of the dorsal plate of the anterior thorax are dark in color, and there are 1 gray-black round spots near the posterior corners on both sides of the dorsal plate of the anterior thorax. It is 20-43mm long (without the upper jaw) and 3-16mm wide.
