Ma Yutao (born February 1936 in Baode, Shanxi), graduated from the Shanghai Vocal Research Institute, Chinese mainland soprano singer and national first-class actor. In 1957, he participated in the Sixth World Youth Festival held in Moscow and won a gold medal in a solo competition. In 1979, he was named the National March 8th Red Flag Bearer. He has served as a judge of the National Young Singers Television Grand Prix and a judge of the Golden Bell Award, the highest award of Chinese music.
