In the face of flowers, cakes and blessings, her face was filled with smiles, and she could not see the vicissitudes and twists, the hardships of the past, only the happy smile. She suffers from Alheimer's disease and is no longer able to communicate with the outside world normally. However, the years are silent, and the earth has traces. Her life was not prominent, but it was not ordinary.
In my parents' generation, there are many things that we can't understand. Born into a family of high-ranking intellectuals, she joined the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army with her father in 1939, only 10 years old, and was still a child. Her father said that the horses that were given to him by the organization were often ridden by her, and many times they were running with the tail of the horses. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Fifth Division was behind enemy lines and was very difficult. She herself recalled that marching and transferring were commonplace, and she was forced to develop the ability to eat and sleep while walking, and often fell asleep in the march and fell blue and her face was swollen, and she did not know how she survived.

After the victory of the War of Resistance, before the people could laugh out loud, Chiang Kai-shek launched a civil war, and the breakthrough in the Central Plains was the starting point of the Liberation War, and 300,000 Kuomintang troops vainly attempted to encircle and annihilate more than 60,000 troops of the Central Plains Military Region, when she was 17 years old. Mom's unit was tasked with covering the main force's breakthrough, and she recalled that at the end of the fight, wherever the gun rang, she ran wherever there was, and felt that there were still people resisting there. Until the gunfire of the entire battlefield stopped, the mountains were full of Kuomintang soldiers. Because she was not revealed as a party member and was too young, she was released on bail as an ordinary combatant, and Chiang Kai-shek was released on bail on his 60th birthday. In the historical background at that time, during the post-liberation trial, my mother and a group of comrades of the Fifth Division in the same situation were condemned as traitors. In an age when political life was everything, how heavy it was to carry the burden of history.
In 1984. She was finally rehabilitated and reinstated as a party member at the age of 54. In 1985, I asked about being wronged for more than 30 years and delaying the golden time of my life, and whether I had any resentment in my heart? She said something for granted: "That's for the purity of the organization." I was shocked, looked at her sheepishly, and instantly understood what loyalty is, what is no complaint and no regrets, this is not forgetting the original heart. The Chinese nation that has endured hardships is fortunate, and the Communist Party of China, composed of countless such loyal and outstanding sons and daughters, has led the Chinese nation from blood-stained rivers and mountains to splendid China, from being poor and white to standing in the East and crying the world, which is a historical necessity.

Life is decades, but the days go by day by day. In my mother's words, there are more chaido, not more days. Dad's energy is on work, and he can't take care of the family. The food, clothing, shelter, and transportation of the eight children fell on her. I can't remember how old I was, I woke up several times in the middle of the night, I saw my mother still stepping on the sewing machine to make clothes for us, I thought she must be very tired, my heart was uncomfortable, tears came out at once, when we got up, my mother had already gone out to work. In 1965, Dad left his position as deputy director of the Mobilization Department of the Wuhan Military Region and went to Xiangfan to appoint deputy secretary and secretary of the Xiangyang County CPC Committee. At that time, the salary difference between the army and the local government was not small, and he had to leave Wuhan, but his mother told his father not to worry about the family and resolutely supported him to focus on his career. At the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, the situation was chaotic, and Dad was taken away by the rebels in Xiangfan, and his life and death were unknown. Mom rushed to Xiangfan alone, where martial arts fights often occurred, and gunshots were loud at night. Mom went through a lot of trouble to see Dad and brought back a sentence from Dad: "Please tell the organization that no matter what happens, I will never commit suicide." Later, when my father talked about this matter, he was very emotional, saying that his mother was very affectionate, not afraid of danger, and worthy of being an old comrade who came over in the war years. In Yichang, dad was the main leader, and mom still lived a simple life, often playing 1,000 pounds of briquettes alone on Sundays, and then scrubbing the family's clothes to wash away the coal stains soaked in fingerprints.
For the mother who selflessly supports his career, runs the family rigorously, and integrates his ideals and beliefs into it, Dad is always grateful. More than once in his later years, he said, "I have been thanks to your mother in my life." "Before Dad died in December 2017, when he was awake for a moment, we pushed My Mother's hospital bed to his bed, and he said with encouragement: "Wife, I am very uncomfortable, I can't take care of you", and passed out, which was the last sentence he left for His Mother. This life and death parting, like the sea of affection, thousands of unwilling scenes, really heartbreaking.
Today, my mother spends her days in a clean hospital room. Her weak body, no longer able to see the huge energy that once surged, vigorous youth. Why should life be brilliant! In the black and white of the cycle of the sun and the moon, in the colorful alternating seasons, it is enough to leave a guilty stroke. Looking at my mother's smile, I felt great comfort in my heart. Her old man is here, and our roots are there. My father's exhortation rang in my ears: "Take care of the old lady and let your mother get up as soon as possible." I asked myself: Is the centenary a dream? l
