Jilin Curling Team was founded in 2014, although it started late, but the progress is very fast, not only in the major competitions to win gold and silver, and the traditional curling province of Heilongjiang back and forth, but also for the Chinese team to send a large number of talents, this year there are 9 team members selected for the curling national training team.
Wang Mei Ni was the runner-up of the Chinese National Curling Championships, and represented China in the World Youth Curling Championships and won a bronze medal.
She said that at present, she must adjust to the state in order to compete for her long-awaited honor at the 14th National Winter Games.

Twenty years ago, China introduced curling to further develop ice and snow sports. In 2009, the Chinese women's curling team won the women's curling world championship in a historic way, and soon after they won the bronze medal at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
However, from the perspective of development in recent years, the thickness of China's curling talents is obviously insufficient. Li Guangxu, head coach of the Jilin Provincial Curling Team, believes that curling is still a niche sport in China, and there is a lack of infrastructure such as venues.
But the heat of the curling players' training makes people see the hope for the future of China's curling project. Li Guangxu introduced that he set up a "variety of names" projects to help team members polish their basic skills and improve their psychological quality.
Every year, Li Guangxu has several disciples entering the curling national training team, and his team has become another "big rear" for Chinese curling talents. (End)
