Margaret is known as the "Queen of the Cocktail," and Margaret was the winner of the 1949 National Cocktail Competition. Its production steps are roughly to use lemon slices to circle around the edge of the cup, then turn the cup upside down on the salt pile to make snowflake lace, and finally put the ice cubes into the shaker, then pour in agave, Cointreau, lemon juice in turn, shake vigorously and evenly pour into the wine glass.
It is said that Margaret's creation was born out of a poignant love. A bartender in Los Angeles falls in love with a Mexican girl, Margaret, and Mexico becomes a romantic place for the two of them. However, during a hunting trip, Margaret was hit by a stray bullet and finally fell into the arms of her lover bartender and left forever.
Because agave is Mexico's national wine, this Margaret's base wine is made of agave, the sourness of lemon juice represents the bartender's sadness of missing his girlfriend, and the salt cream represents the bartender's tears for missing his girlfriend.
The bartender missed his girlfriend with this wine, and I used this wine to say goodbye to my relationship, and finally regained my freedom to be single, grateful to have met, and each of them has been fine ever since.
