The Great Wall of Qi was built in Spring and Autumn and completed in the Warring States, with a history of more than 2,600 years, making it the oldest Great Wall in mainland China. It stretches 617 kilometers from Jinan Changqing in the west to Huangdao into the sea in the east, and has been listed on the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Great Wall of Qi is not only a mighty city to resist foreign enemies, but also a city of peace to pray for the peace of the people, or an open city to promote the gathering and exchange of civilizations. On October 10, Zhu Zhenglin, deputy secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the CPPCC, and his party came to our county to investigate the cultural inheritance and innovation of Qi, and the leaders of the county CPPCC and the county culture and tourism bureau accompanied the investigation.
The research team inspected the protection of the Yiyuan Walnut Gu section on the spot, and Liu Mingfa, director of the County Bureau of Culture and Tourism, introduced the cultural protection and development of Yiyuan Qi to the research group. In recent years, leaders at the provincial, municipal and county levels have attached great importance to the protection of the Great Wall of Qi, and under the guidance of the provincial and municipal departments of culture and tourism, our county has carried out a series of protection work:
The first is to introduce a protection system and consolidate the responsibility for protection.
In order to do a good job in the protection of the Yiyuan section of the Great Wall of Qi, the county party committee and the county government have successively issued the Notice on Strengthening the Protection of the Great Wall of Qi and the Implementation Plan for the Comprehensive Implementation of the Cultural Relics Chief System in Yiyuan County.
The second is to improve the construction of "human air defense, material defense, technical defense" and consolidate the foundation for protection.
Civil air defense measures: 43 personnel in public welfare posts were implemented to patrol and protect the Great Wall of Qi, and ensure that each section of the Great Wall of Qi had personnel patrolling and supervising. Last year, the "Zibo Qi Great Wall Patrol" APP developed by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism was piloted in Yiyuan, and real-time feedback was achieved on inspection paths and inspection conditions.
Physical prevention measures: set up protective boundary posts for some key sections of the Great Wall of Qi, clarify the boundaries and scope, make and install protective monuments and safety bulletin boards for each section of the Great Wall of Qi, and publicly publicize the relevant information of those directly responsible for the safety of cultural relics;
Technical prevention measures: more than 20 monitoring probes are installed in key sections such as Walnut Gu section, Shuiquan Taoxishan section, Matougu section, and Dongshan section of the depot, supporting the construction of county-level monitoring centers, and connecting with provincial and municipal platforms, key sections will achieve 24-hour monitoring, and improve the level of technical defense protection of the Great Wall.
The third is to implement protection projects and do solid protection projects.
In accordance with the principle of "adapting measures to local conditions and categorizing protection", we actively strive for the top, and with the concern and support of the competent provincial and municipal departments, we have applied for a total of 4.15 million yuan in special funds for the protection and repair of the Great Wall of Qi, prepared a protection and restoration plan for the Walnut Gu section and the West Mountain section of Shuiquan Chuan, and implemented rescue protection and repair and environmental treatment for the Walnut Gu section.
In the next step, we are determined to adhere to the hardware and software together, in accordance with the requirements of the superiors, while protecting and building the Great Wall, an important carrier of Qi culture, we also dig deep into the essence of culture and let Qi culture continue to be passed on forever.
