In terms of appearance, Leap C16 adopts a family-style design language, with the iconic closed grille of new energy models with sharp LED headlight clusters on both sides, bright black trim strips connecting two headlights on the left and right, and the rectangular grille decoration at the bumper is neatly shaped, and the sense of stability is more. Consumers can choose from six exterior colours, including Starlight Silver, Pearl White, Starlight Purple, Sky Grey, Metallic Black and Glazed Jade.
The side profiles are sleek, the window frames are finished with black high-gloss trim strips, and the door handles are concealed. Through-type taillights are a more common design style, and the roof of the high-end model will be equipped with "LiDAR." In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the Leap C16 are 4915/1905/1770 mm, and the wheelbase is 2825 mm.
In terms of interior, the Leapmotor C16 continues to adopt a family-style layout design, with a T-shaped center console equipped with a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating central control screen and a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, as well as a Qualcomm 8295 chip, and adopts a pocket shift design. The sub-instrument console area provides wireless charging for mobile phones, cup holders, and more. The interior of the car adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, and the second-row seats are all electrically adjustable.
In terms of power, the Leapmotor C16 was born from the Leapmotor four-leaf clover architecture, based on the 800V silicon carbide platform, equipped with CTC2.0 battery chassis integration technology, and provides two power forms: range extension and pure electric. The maximum power of the drive motor of the pure electric model is 215kW, the peak torque is 360Nm, and the cruising range is 520km under CLTC mode. The extended-range version is a 1.5-liter engine with a maximum power of 70 kW. The maximum power of the drive motor is 170 kW, the pure electric range is 200 km under CLTC working conditions, and the comprehensive cruising range is 1095 km. The fuel consumption of the CLTC is 5.4L/100km per 100km.
